Dowsing for Beginners: How to Find Water, Wealth & Lost Objects (For Beginners (Llewellyn's))

It was an okay book, but not exactly what I thought it would be. It spend too much time on famous dowsers and famous dowser history stories. I just wanted to learn how to dowse. The thing I really wanted to know more about such as dowsing for lost objects was addressed very briefly.

Old info and didn’t give very much information I would not buy again. I was looking for a book to get me started in dowsing

Kind of boring reading too much blah blah it could packed everything in 10 pages.

I first picked up this book at the library, and now I am buying my own copy. This is a must-have for anybody interested in esoteric phenomena and divination in general, and dowsing in particular. I found this book to be knowledgeable, level-headed and practical, and I was especially impressed with the author's honest description as to what to expect from dowsing, its limitations, and how the results can be influenced by the operator. I have ordered another one by this author, Omens, Oghams, and Oracles, and if that one is as good as this one, I can hardly wait to read it.

Great reading for a beginner dowswer. Try to find a local professional dowser that would be willing to improve your abilities. I did and feel very confident about finding unmarked graves.

I bought dowsing rods from Amazon and was pleased with the purchase. I knew how to use them but decided some additional information wouldn't hurt so I bought this book. It is a complete history of dowsing...interesting because it tells of rods being depicted on cave walls from thousands of years ago. So now you know the practice isn't a quirk. It shows various rods from homemade to purchased. Tells how to use them for the best results. Good and informative book...lots of pictures with the text. Iam not disappointed and realize that when dowsing for water, objects or spirits the answer is...practice, practice, practice.

Interesting book so far. Even goes into the history of dowsing which I found some things very surprising. Does cover the very basic to easily understand.

Easy to read and casual All forms of dowsing covered with an optimistic attitude. Some dowsing books are so negative, and would put you off trying. This chap believes we all can do it. Very happy with book.

Very informative insight on the many applications of dowsing and the best book I have read on the subject. Highly recommended for anyone interested and for practising dowsers.

This book is a no nonsense say it as it is book. Keeps to the point and gives tips on attempting things that you hadn't considered. Great read, a book u don't want to end!

This book is laid out in a way so it is easy to jump from chapter to chapter and find what you need to know. It may be a book for beginners but it is comprehensive in covering all dowsing methods.

Bought this from Amazon for my husband. He can water divine anyway so thought it would be a fun book to help him improve. He found it interesting and easy to red.

This book is so full of examples, encouragement and exercises that by the time you finish it you are convinced of your ability to do anything with a pendulum or rods.The fact that in my case I still can't make anything happen has not in the least put me off, I am going to go on practicing until one day I'm sure if this book is anything to go by, I will succeed.

I bought this for my grandson, following in my weird footsteps. I hope he finds it as interesting as I did and have been a dowser for many years. Still lots to learn and re learn and well worth a look.
