arrived timely and was what i ordered. now, as many others have said, the cap does NOT have the ratcheting thread lock like the stock remington 870 express 12g does.(this is for the remington 870 express 12g) but, that does not mean it wont work!!! when installing the cap, i HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND ADVISE that u use loctite(threadlock) blue would be best, red would probably be overkill but either way id advice u to use a threadlock of some sort!! and tighten it down with channel locks, dont reef it down but a little extra pressure wont hurt. if u dont have threadlock id advise u to at least tighten the cap down with the channel locks until u can get threadlock, which is available at pretty much ALL auto parts stores! hardware is all included. u will need to drill ur stock out for the screw(start with 1/8 drill bit then 3/16) unless u have an aftermarket stock with the screw already installed. no installation instructions are included for bit size but common sense should be all ya need for the cap at least. i cant say what other guns this fits, but it fits my remington 870 express magnum 12g perfect! i u have a shoulder strap that has the quick attachments then u wont need the ones in this kit, which are only 1 inch, if ur stap doesn't than ur still good to go as long as ur strap is 1 inch. so, other than the cap issue which many reviewer's have stated, this kit is worth the money and time and fits perfect, just plz use threadlock on the cap!! very happy with the seller and product and will buy from again👍

Look at what you have before you order the wrong part
This is exactly what I was needing, it fit perfectly. This style cap fits on the rem 870 super magnum.

Quick installation and allows a sling to be attached. No issues. Just what I wanted and expected.

Cheap, low quality solution
The plastic sleeves around the release pin head were brittle and practically disintegrated when installing BOTH swivels. If you don't plan on ever removing the swivels, this is a viable alternative.
