Great epaper to Pi adapter
If you have a Pi and an epaper panel without a driver, then get this. It works great. It just works right out of the box.

Convenient for connecting e-ink displays to Pi
Works great with my 1.54" and 2.13" e-ink displays. Makes it a breeze to connect my e-ink displays to my microcontrollers. Comes with a 9pin cable and mounting hardware too, very nice! Definitely a project-ready driver.

THIS DOESN'T FIT ALL WAVESHARE SCREENS - LIKE 1.02"
This is not a truly universal driver hat/shield for waveshare displays. I bought this for setup and testing purposes of a 1.02" display and only after receiving it did I realize the connector on that display isn't the same width as the rest. I've included an image of all displays this does work with. 3 stars because if this information would have been provided it would have been my mistake. Will be returning as it is useless to me.

A very good hat for raspberry pi from stop. Great for DIY projects. If you have eating screens. It allows you to use any eating screen with your raspberry pi four or five. Overall a fun item to use for DIY projects.

Despite the product title, this is not a universal adapter. Will only fit displays that have a 24-pin flat cable connector, The display I was wanting it for has 50-pins

There’s a design bug with v3 boards. There is a pin that when set to hi enables the voltage regulators that go off to the epaper board ✅ The 3.3v power is also sent to the enable pin OE on the 3.3 to 5v logic translator chip for the RPI and that bus becomes active ✅. This is great for a PI board. But for those who want to use the loose wires it’s not good (aka esp32-firebeatle etc). Powering up the epaper enables the translator bus and that fights the signals you’re trying to assert on the loose wires. Bus wars. Verified by a scope. Wired signal get pulled up or down. OE pin on the 3/5 translator chip should have went to the RPI to detect the presence of a PI and not that the epaper has power☹️ You will be forced to buy the wave share ESP32 driver board…. But that sucks 1mA idle, good luck making a battery operated weather station or clock with that power hog. Fire beatle won’t work… pin drive too weak to fight the bus.
