Might be rougher than it appears and not (in my opinion) for sanding natural nails.
These are rougher than I expected and probably more for acrylic nails vs natural, but it's too fine to effectively use for smoothing calluses on feet. Still a great value and I'll keep them for other uses.

I'm a beauty therapist and normally go to my local trade shop for things like this but decided to give these a go. I'm happy that I did! They are brilliant for buffing the nail plate ahead of gel application. Be careful though, they have a decent grit, so light buff only. Great for thick toenails! Love the white, looks professional. I dropped a star for value for money as they are quite expensive, but nonetheless they are a fantastic product and I'm very happy with my purchase!

I actualy ordered these for crafting purposes. I had previously bought a much cheaper pack of these blocks and I got exactly what I paid for, cheap and poor quality. When I received these, I knew I had got a good quality item. They are firm, but have a good amount of 'give'. The abrasive coverage is not too course and the block is covered evenly. They will no doubt be perfect for manicure purposes, but I have found EXACTLY what I was looking for in a crafting sanding block. Would highly recommend!!!

£11.99 is a scam. Absolutely awful. No grit on this item at all. As a professional manicurist I advise you to move on to another item. I need to send back and get a refund- so boring!
