Easy to use and durable
I have tried to fly drones before and even purchased a large one about 2 years ago from amazon and I am awful at trying to fly them, until now. After I charged it up and popped in 2 AAA batteries I was mentally prepared to mess up and break it on my first try. Well I got caught up in the excitement of having a new toy that I threw away the directions but it is okay as dozens of youtube videos give tutorials and reviews. After watching a video I downloaded the app and was surprised how fast my phone connected to the drone. Per the directions I calibrated it and started flying. Everything was working perfectly until my dog ran into me and I sent the drone crashing into the ceiling and a straight drop to the ground. I thought I killed it. But upon inspection not even a mark. The only difficulty I had was getting the tilt correctly but once I figured that out it was smooth.

Excellent learning drone
This is a MUST HAVE for someone who is seriously considering flying those higher tech /higher priced drones. I almost went out there to buy $1000 drone as my first drone. DON’T DO THAT!!! Learn how to fly on a basic drone first! If you can’t fly a $40 drone, you will crash your $1000 drone! The idea/principle is easy, however, just like everything else, you need to practice to make it perfect. It does all the basic and if you can fly this well, then you will have easier time to control the more expensive higher end drone without crash/break your high-end drone. We did crash landed the drone a few times already and so far due to its lightweight, there are no damages to the drone. The good: Cheap, good for practice, does everything that a basic drone is supposed to do. Even have the feature to help the beginners. (Like one button for taking off. Make controls less sensitive, etc.) Including 4 replacement blades (in case if it broke.) EASY ENOUGH FOR THE BEGINNER (THIS IS MY FIRST DRONE.) AND HARD ENOUGH SO THAT YOU CAN PRACTICE FOR THE REAL THING LATER.(THE MORE EXPENSIVE MODELS.)The bad: On/off switch is hard to find (it’s hidden in the hard plastic cover. Was gonna take 0.5 star off but I won’t since this is a one-time obstacle.) Beside, I am having TOO MUCH FUN with this thing! My dog is chasing after it all over the yard! (Or you can just chase after your dog, cat, a komodo dragon or whatever you have as a pet.)

Fun drone for kids
This Mini Drone is totally fun to fly around outside or inside the house. The Altitude Hold function works fine and once the trim controls are set the drone hovers nicely in place. Taking the propellers off and folding the arms in allows storage inside the remote controller if one desires to pack the drone for a trip. Flight time is about 15 minutes and the drone re-charges in 30 to 40 minutes. The USB end has a charging light that goes out once the drone battery is fully charged so it's very easy to determine the state of the charge. My 8 years old boy play it over and over again. He said it was his "bestest" toy of all. It's a really fun drone to fly and I would buy it again.

Fun Drone | Great for Kids and Beginners
Welcome to another Dad's Den Reviews (For video reviews you can find me on YouTube) I hope you enjoy this review and remember "Work Smarter, Not Harder."Design/Features:The size of this drone is pretty small. Don't let the photos fool you. But with that being said, I kinda like it. The actual size is 5.7 x 4.7 x 2.6 in. It utilizes 2.4GHz technology and 6 axis stabilization system for smooth flight, easy to control.Durability:For being such a small drone I was surprised with it's durability. I crashed into my garage once, onto the driveway once and into the grass and it had no issues. I even bounced it into a tree on purpose and it bounced off and kept flying. Not bad. The one thing you need to be careful with is the battery that goes inside the drone. I can tell it is pretty fragile so handle with care.Performance:I've been flying a DJI Mavic Pro now for about a year and consider myself pretty decent with drone flying. With the Bumble Bee (Is what I'm calling it), I was able to get used to the controls pretty fast. It did take me several minutes to get it calibrated though. Not sure if I was doing something wrong, but at first when I let go of the controller, the drone would take off backwards and to the left. I just had to recalibrate it.The drone can fly pretty fast and has much better maneuverability than I thought it would. I thought it might be really jerky but it actually had a very nice flight pattern to it.I love that this drone has 3 speeds. It is great for the beginner drone flyer. It can fly at 30% speed, 60 % or 100%. I had it at 100% the entire time as I wanted to push it's limits. The altitude hold worked fairly well. It was a bit breezy when I flew this but it held pretty good. It is really small and light so on a really windy day it would have a hard time.Pros:Great Price, Fun to fly, easy to learnCons:It is small, so handle with care.Recommended For:Good for kids and beginner drone flyers.
