Up to date
Nice up to date book on modern MBT’s, AFV’s and MICV’s. Looking forward to the books dedicated to Russia and China, and hoping for more on the USA, Israel, UK, Germany etc.

Tank Book
Well illustrated and informative .

Thorough & informative
Being an ex military person (during the 80s), I wanted to brush up my knowledge on the world’s main battle tanks. This book provides as much information as I need and describes the progressive variants, upgrades and versions of each. The only negative comment, I have to make, is that the author uses idiosyncratic words. For instance, rather than saying “this tank features, a 7.62 mm coaxial machine gun” or “this tank includes an HF radio antenna” etc. he uses the word sports, or sporting, as in “this tank sports a 7.62 mm machine gun”. This word appears on nearly every page more than once. When your brain locks onto this, it’s quite annoying. However, I shouldn’t let it spoil an otherwise, excellent book.

Abbastanza esauriente carrellata dei mezzi militari presenti oggi nei vari paesi. Ovviamente l argomento è così vasto che si tratta di un libro con dei limiti, non suoi, ma dovuti alla grande vastità dell argomento

Wer sich für das Thema interessiert und über entsprechende Vorkenntnisse, so wie einigermaßen "Schul-Englisch" beherrscht, ist dieses Buch absolut zu empfehlen. Fast alle Panzer/Schützenpanzer sind mit informativen Text, technischen Daten und mehreren farbigen Profil-Bildern/Fotos abgehandelt. Zusätzlich sind noch einige Schnittzeichnungen vorhanden Was leider fehlt ist der schwedische Schützenpanzer CV 90 mit seinen Varianten.

My son is obsessed with tanks. I bought this book for him so he would have something to read and do instead of bothering me while I’m trying to work at home. (LOL). He loves it. He takes it with him when he goes back to his dad’s house and brings it back every time. It’s been a couple months and he still loves it and is now trying to quiz us on obscure tank facts. Completely worth the money!

Wer wissen will, was sich auf dem Feld der gepanzerten Kampffahrzeuge weltweit so tummelt (auch angesichts der aktuellen Diskussion), wird mit diesem englischen Buch sehr gut informiert.
