this waveguide saved me from buying a new mircowave
if you searching for this part, you probably know that this is the part you need to fix the problem your microvwave is having.I did a lot of google and youtube on this topic and found out what I need to do to fix the problem, which is replace the damaged waveguide piece.I was actually just going to junk the mircowave and went out shopping for one, but found that there's a lot of choices, sizes and price range.so I did more research and found that the piece I needed to replace was the waveguide. I learned that you should wipe down the inside of your mircowave when you get food spatter on the interior walls. so basically the waveguide has food spatter and each time you use it, the food continue to get burned. and if the food spatter happens to be on the waveguide, your basically burning it until there is a hole and is damaged.couldn't find this piece in retail stores so more google search to find which part I needed for my specific unit.I found this correct part for my unit. shipping was a few days. upon receiving it, I compared side by side to damaged piece and it was a perfect match.installed it and worked without problems. overall happy and pleased, this part saved me from purchasing a new unit which would have been way more money $$$.side note, I actually ordered the wrong Sharp part for the waveguide. PCOVPB073MRPO. but upon receiving this wrong part, it was actually identical to this part #. maybe there could be a slight thickness difference, don't know. but I used the correct part for my unit.

Amazon and quick ship saved me big bucks
I promise to never let the food splatter on the inside of the microwave again! Scary sparking action. Seems crazy that a small glob of sauce can prompt me to go microwave shopping, but I figured something major was wrong with the expensive magnetron. I Wanted to replace the unit I had, since the size is perfect for the space, and the search of the model number returned not the whole unit, just this inexpensive replacement part. When I read what it was for, I realized it was all I needed, and the part took me literally one minute to replace (you need to unplug the micro but no need to open the housing and/or worry about getting too near the scary magnetron, that's definitely dangerous even if unplugged!). If your micro is sparking and the wave guide cover (on the inner wall on same side as control) is dirty or looks scorched at all, it's definitely worth it to try this replacement. It has only tabs, not screws like some models. You just slide the cover upward and it will come free, (but my original had a sticky strip along the top edge couldn't see, and it partly ripped on way off, no big deal). Line up the new one, slide downward into place, and it's back to normal!

Not proper fit
I made sure that it was the proper one for my microwave. But it wasn't exactly like the one that was in it. It fits but not like it should

Easy microwave saver
Saved my butt. Youtube tells you how to replace. Basically, remove the old cover by sliding it off from the guides-put it down on a counter exactly in the position you found it for visual reference and then replace with the new one. This did not come with any instructions. You pop the new cover in on the left and then try placing it on the right - helps to use just the barest top of your fingertip under the middle bottom edge to slightly "bend" the cover to insert on the right. And presto, expensive microwave saved and no more scary sparking going on.

An inexpensive and perfect fix!
When our microwave started shooting flames one day, we figured it was time for a new one (To put it mildly. After having a near heart attack. Flames in your microwave is scary stuff!). While shopping online, I decided to do a little YouTube search on flame-throwing microwaves :-) I saw a short video on replacing the waveguide, and there you go! Saved us a couple hundred $$, and our microwave is back in service.

Why buy a new micro oven?
Most folks trash their microwave ovens when they start to light up the interior with scary sparking. I Googled "sparks in microwave oven" or something and discovered that it usually occurs when a drop of bacon grease or whatnot gets stuck on this cover. It drys up, then the oven cooks this gunk until a small hole burns through the delicate surface. Hence the sparks; The cover does something to prevent these sparks. At under ten bucks, why not try it? It takes less than a minute to change one of these things out. Get two, you'll need one later.

Identical to OEM, and super cheap
I have a seemingly unused Sharp 408LS that I bought at a thrift store for $25. When I tried to use it, it sparked and made an awesome light show, so I immediately turned it off and looked inside. I noticed a burnt spot on the waveguide cover (had no idea what this was at that point). A Google search brought me here, and a few days later I had a fully functional microwave. Thanks to this thing (and someone else's laziness) I got a kickass microwave for $30! More money for the fun stuff.
