Quality. It works.
Gets the job done. Feels nice in the hand, probably won't break any time soon.

A well made scraper
As a product, this is 5 stars. It's fashioned from a single piece of wood. All the grain is lengthwise, so it should not have pieces break off. Well made and as solid as it looks. Not the smaller toys sold at Lowes. The wood is not sealed. I'm going to use Real Milk Paint Pure Tung Oil (not tung oil finish), as it's food safe and will last forever. I'd buy this again, though I'd likely grouse about the delivery time of almost a month, which is the only reason it lost a star.

No more bits of wire in the hamburgers!
I really like this concept and this one is a good piece of wood. I have a deep V shaped section of the grill and by starting in the same groves a few times it is wearing down the wood so it will take the exact form of the grill and clean all the way down the V. Plus as I said I don't have to worry about bits of wire breaking off. Jay

Simple but effective!
Works great. Quick scrap before and after cooking and the grids are clean. No complaints.

Not as efficient as steel brush
I don’t really know what I expected from this thing. Long story short: it doesn’t work worth a damn. Buy any steel brush before you buy this. It simply doesn’t clean a grill like a steel brush.

A limb off a tree would work better than this scraper.

Works, but not great
Meh. It will scrape heavy deposits somewhat off grates but leaves a lot behind. Using it on cast iron grates it is just so so. Wire bristle brush much better but with the real possibility of ingesting a broken piece of wire the wood paddle will not have that that risk. Only wish it cleaned better.

I like how hard the wood is and how well it actually works. I’m not worried about wires and my kids or dog getting ahold of an d brush. Used it off and on for a few months and no cracks or anything either.
