Bought one for my wife for reading instead of using 4 high ceiling lights (240 watts). It's great, but we keep on fighting over who will use it. So will be ordering 1 more next month for me. One for the recliner and one for the couch. Perfect, and makes a great night light by just holding down the off button for about 4 seconds.Also, we just saved another 8 bucks by waiting till next month!!Update - received the second light - so now only using 12 watts for both of us to read instead of 240. Lights are slick (super thin) but sturdy. Took 2 - 3 minutes to put it together (pull off the plastic, screw in the 3 legs, screw in the 3 pieces, plug in, install your own batteries in the remote. Good to go.. Flexible (left to right, up & down, and angle as needed).

I was shocked by the size of the box that it came in but 15 mins later I had a very nice lamp! It is perfect except it isn't quite bright enough. The light is well made and sturdy. The remote stopped working and I can't find a replacement. I even tried ebay, no luck. It did last 2 years. If I bought another one would the remote work on both? Never mind, out of stock! Purchased as a gift for my boyfriend last December. Works good, white light feature is my favorite. It has lasted almost a year now and we enjoy the dimming feature. Lightweight and easily portable. Our biggest gripe is that it does not cover a wide area. Primarily used as a reading lamp or for background lighting while we watch movies. Not an everyday use lamp.

Needed an unobtrusive light to brighten up an otherwise perfect reading spot. This fits the bill perfectly, barely noticeable when off, perfect light when on. Not super bright or directed but wasn't expecting either. Adjustable color temperature means it blends in with existing light beautifully. Note that the light level drops off at the warm and cold extremes of the color range but pretty uniform otherwise. Trivially simple to assemble. Bonus points for having an on-off switch on the light as well as the remote.

I love this light in theory, but ever since we purchased it, we've had trouble with the remote. It would go off on the timer setting even if I thought I put it on without it, and then the remote just stopped working completely. We've changed batteries and know they're good because the little red light comes on, but it doesn't control the lamp. We can still operate the lamp by the touch button on the top, but you can only go from bright to soft white, you can't dim it, which was telling main reason we chose this lamp over others. If the remote worked and I had full access to the lamps capabilities, I would have rated it a 5 star product. Also, I would normally return a "broken" product like this but we recently had a baby and I missed the return window, so now I'm stuck with it!

Sadly, I cannot recommend this lamp. It started out well. For the first three months the lamp provided a powerful white-blue light. The fourth month the light changed to a warm yellow, which I loved. For the last two month it's been back to the white-blue, but the intensity has declined so much it's barely as bright as a candle. And it flickers now too.

This lamp is simple and would look good in any style room. I have it in my living room for now and it is very sturdy even on the carpeting. I love the high intensity light when working on a craft and the ability to use the remote for dimming when it's time to get ready for bed. Great product.

Really nice product. I had two criteria, one that it dimmed enough and it did, the other was that is was bright enough and it is. The remote works flawlessly and is simple to use. The build quality is really nice. I particularly like it for it minimal size. We hardly notice it there yet it is plenty tall enough. The base is solid as well as the overall construction. I thought it was a little overpriced until I looked at the competition. It was a bargain compared to the others. I highly recommend this product.
