LDR 502 5108CP Toe Touch Bath Tub Drain, Chrome

This is the second stopper I have purchased, and I am pleased with its performance. It is easy to install if you have the necessary tools, it comes with a rubber O ring of which the instructions indicate that its use is optional. I used the O ring, but in hindsight it would have been better to use plumber's putty to seal the base to the tub and avoid a "ledge" created by the O ring. which causes a small amount of water to remain around the stopper's base.

I bought 2 of these to update the old corroded drains in my 2 tubs. They were exact fit. I was a little difficult to determine which model to order since there are 2 types of threads, fine and coarse. I picked wisely and they were a perfect replacement. The tubs look like new now with the shiny new drains.

Very easy to install used plumbers putty works great

It works well. The button is nice. It looks good. The only issue is the outside ring sits lower than the drain in the middle, so a small small amount of water sits around it instead of draining.

It works well. I replaced a corroded one that wasn't sealing. I thought my hot water hear elements were bad because I was running out of hot water before the tub filled. Here it was going down the drain as my old one was leaking. I bought the best tool and it broke free ok but didn't want to turn out. It was putting torgue on the lower pipes. It had my drain at 10 o'clock position. So I used a heat gun. I got it nice and warm/hot and it backed right out. I'm not a plumber so I was happy to get this fixed myself. I put "never seize" on the threads and plumber dope around the top. I rolled the dope into long thing string and wrapped it around the top. I don't know if that is needed or not but it did have it in before, so.. 17 years we have owned our house and I never realized the stopper unscrewed so you can clean it. I've seen some with "hair catchers". I don't know why you would want to do that. The septic will take care of the hair. Happy with it.

Despite the chromed plastic stopper (which regardless does look like real metal), this is an overall really nice unit. Of course, an all-metal stopper would have been nicer, but for the price this is just fine. I would buy it again. Indeed, I bought a second one after my original first order.

Purchased this after finding the prices in hardware stores to be exceptionally high, thought I would try this out instead. Perfect size and quality, works well. I was afraid of the peddle looking like plastic chrome but it turned out really lovely. Install was super easy with a tub drain tool, without tool I'm not sure as to how difficult it would be. Overall super satisfied and happy with the purchase.

Easy to install and use. Not sure how durable is that, but looks good. Don't forget that the gasket is not going in between the drain and the tub. It's actually going in between your tub and the drain pipe, and you seal your drain and tub connecting with plumber's putty, (NOT silicone), otherwise you'll have problem removing it.

This item is really well made with a polished stainless finish. It also comes with a pop up drain plug and a rubber seal for under the tub hole. Excellent price, excellent quality, complete kit.

Good price, but unfortunatelly had to be returned. our tub drain pipe is 3/8" and needs 1/2" OD smaller drain stopper
