Got mine yesterday, it's going back today. The tracks are made of soft rubber; if you turn too quickly the lateral force on the track pulls it off the idler pulley and the robot is rendered immobile. Just a few minutes of cruising around inside the house to get the feel of it, and the track falls off. Also, many of the screws that hold the frame together were very loose (one had fallen out); had to be tightened before testing it out. The product info says it will go over large obstacles "with ease." This is not the case in my experience. Mine had trouble just going over a 3/4" door jamb (before the track fell off).

This robot didn’t work properly at all for us. Every time it rolled forward the rubber track came off the wheels, whether it was going straight or not; on carpet or hardwood. The track came off every single time. My son got it as a Christmas gift and within five minutes we’d decided it wasn’t worth the hassle. I shopped early for it so the window of opportunity to return had passed and I was worried I’d be out the $60. However, customer support was very gracious and helpful and allowed me to return the item past the deadline since it was a gift. I was very appreciative.So it gets 1 Star for just plain not working and coming apart. But I’d give it 4 stars if it worked right because my son thought it was cool. Customer support gets 5 stars!

Works, just terrible on carpet. Had to reattach the tracks every time my kid would make a turn. The grabber hand is temperamental due to the slip on electrode that doesn’t lock into place. But when the robot is used on smooth floors it works great and my kid enjoys it.

Great toy for boys. It requires some time input on practicing the control of this robot, since the controller is very detailed. Even though the robot doesn’t move very smooth, it’s still a good gift for kids.

My grandson's love it. Had to shim one drive wheel but come on the price was right ... didn't realize it was aluminum untill we opened it. Bonus

This tank was pretty amazing, my 9 year old son received it as a Christmas gift and took him the rest of the day to put it together. Excellent product. Design, quality, instructions all very well done. I would recommend to anyone, young or old, if you enjoy a fun time, this is a great choice.

Mine came with no instructions. Not difficult to figure out but still. Looks like mine was used but box said new. Had to snug up and change track idlers. We’ll see.
