Greta strings for a Martin Backpacker.
I bought these for my Back packer, great strings and worth getting the original manufactures string for their guitars in this instance. good quality not too expensive and great sound.

Fabulous
These are the best guitar strings on the market. C.F Martin and co know exactly what they are doing when it comes to making guitars and guitar strings are no exception. Highly recommend these strings, they last longer (before sounding dull) and they sound fabulous

Great price, plus long lasting rich tone.
The first set of these strings were a gift from a friend a couple of years ago. Prior to that I used “Elixer” strings . I welcomed the slightly heavier bottom , also they lasted ages . They produce a great tone and are terrific value for the money. I prefer the “Bronze” over the “Phosphor Bronze” , but that’s just my preference.

Poor delivery!!
The strings are great and good value. Delivery was ridiculously poor. The small package was left at the side of my house in the pouring rain. To get to the position where it was left, the courier would have passed a mail box which is easily big enough to accommodate the package. Fortunately, although the package was soaked through, the strings inside were in a sealed plastic cover.

Delicious (kisses fingers).
These are the strings that came on my Martin SC-10e. They're fabulous if you like a bright sound. They're light, so they feel great too. When I replace the strings, I can't stop playing for about two weeks because they sound so lush. After that, they still sound good, but lack a little je ne sais quoi, until I replace them again. If money were no object, I'd have my guitar tech replace these every two weeks. Alas, I'll stick to every three months.

Brought back some sparkle .
After watching reviews on these, I moved to them as they have a reputation for being slightly brighter than their competitors. I have an Eastman E10ss spruce top/ mahogany back and sides . ( J45 type thing) . Mahogany can tonally be on the mellow side . I went for the 80/20 on a punt really. I’m very happy with the results . Definately more sparkle than the Elixr 80/20 I put on the other day. These may not be the right thing for an already bright character sounding guitar .

Bright yet mellow tone.
Tone and balance is excellent. The tone is bright but with a mellow depth. Longevity is yet to be determined but sound wise, these are the best long life strings that I have ever used. Easy on the fingers too.
