Teleflex 18-3392 Water Pump Kit

I got this rebuild kit for a 1979 Johnson 150. It fit perfect after I figured out which parts were required. The only difficulty I faced was the lack of specific instructions. This kit fits multiple motors and I am pretty sure it contained all the parts to fit those motors. I had to decide which parts I needed and rebuild it by memory of disassembly. I put the wrong drive key in and had to disassemble the motor twice to figure out the problem. Once I figured it out, it worked perfect and have about 8 hours on it with no hiccups.

Worked great on my 1983 Johnson 140HP Seahorse. Easy enough to install, only tricky part was reinstalling the transmission rod. Other than that, saved me a lot of money not doing this at a dealer. Great product. Would highly suggest to a friend to do this themselves instead of paying the dealer.

Placed this kit in my Johnson 88 on my salt water flats boat. The kit worked perfectly and it still holding up well after 6 months. The kit was easy to install and i noticed an immediate difference in pressure after installing.

Kit came with everything I needed to do a complete water pump replacement/rebuild for my ‘84 Evinrude 150 XP. Pump works great. Strong steady stream shooting out of the engine. Will definitely buy again!

Also, the water tube and gromet could also be pre-installed. Anyway, besides being a little more work than necessary, it's a good kit.

All the parts I needed for a water pump replacement were included with this purchase. Very satisfied with this product. I would recommend to anyone needing a water pump replacement.

Sierra usually has good products. This one was lacking, whoever was in charge of quality control on the gaskets should be fired. See pictures. Factory evinrude gasket on bottom that I had to order after receiving this junk. Too thin and broken coming out of the package.
