I’m allergic to mosquito bites and swell up like the Michelin Man when I get bitten. I’ve tried just about every anti-itch cream out there, from cheap to expensive, and nothing works like good old name-brand Benadryl.

About 6 months ago I developed a rash that itched like crazy. It started on my right forearm and pretty much stayed there for weeks before slowly starting to spread. Never had I experienced anything like this before so I went to see my doctor and he diagnosed me with eczema. I thought this was something that typically started in childhood but apparently that isn't always the case. Good to know. He prescribed something, told me to take allergy meds and use cortizone cream, which I was already using. The cream worked well enough but I saw this and decided to order it to have on hand because I was told that I could have "flare ups". Lucky for me, the rash was already going away before I received this so I just went on with my life. Then, about a month ago, it came back. Same exact place. Not as bad this time but just as itchy. Instead of the cortizone, I put this on. Wow! Instant relief! I couldn't believe it. Not only did it work right away, but I found that I wasn't having to apply as often as I was with the cortizone. Between this and the allergy meds, I was able to handle it without having to get another prescription. Plus, it's covered under my HRA so I don't have to pay out of pocket. I'm not thrilled about my new diagnosis (who would be?) but I am glad to have found a go to cream that makes it easier to tollerate.
