Very easy to handle, One of a kind
This is a one of a kind product since all other "cleavers" are pretty huge, as they are primarily used to work on meat. But this product gives you all the convenience of a cleaver despite being small, hence manageable. You can use this to chop vegetables, fruits, etc.It's pretty sharp, although you have to use a sharpener to keep it that way.Balance, Hand-feel, etc are very good.Highly recommended.

Nice but v small in comparison to other cleaver knives. But Ace as a brand is awesome. It's knife quality is excellent with sharper SS blades. I bought bcoz of this brand!!

Great to teach children the knife skills!
i got this 'mini' cleaver to train a young child some knife skills. First of all, it is rather small, light in weight and a bit thin. But that is what i was looking for. As for blade, it was very sharp though not perfectly honed. A few passes on the sharpener settled that. Holding the knife in a pinch grip may be a trifle tricky for adult hands, but no big deal for children. The grip on the handle is comfortable. Because of the length of the blade it could be difficult cutting large vegetables but onions, carrots, bell peppers, mushrooms, beans and even tomatoes could be easily handled. Ideal to teach children, especially if you could add in the stainless steel finger guard found elsewhere on Amazon ( the flexible Jamie Oliver one would be better but unfortunately i couldn't find it on Amazon India). The steel finger guard could be a little tricky to use at first but once the children are made to bend and curve their fingers in, they learn pretty quickly. Apart from Yan you could see many educational videos on YouTube devoted to learning 'knife skills'. The media could not be loaded. Loved it !! ...it's veg cleaver.. sharp & efficient knife to cut vegetables ..not so good to chop meat..
