Gloves In A Bottle Shielding Lotion 8oz-240ml -2 PACK For dry cracked sk8n

I have very dry skin and poor circulation so throughout Autumn-spring my hands are constantly cracked and bleeding. I go through moisturisers very quickly and have tried many brands. Gloves ina bottle was recommended to me by a friend and delivered very quickly. The cream no real scent and a little goes quite a long way- not as much as Neutrogena but better than other moisturisers. The difference with GIAB is that it seems to deeply penetrate the skin and leave some sort of protective layer, but without being greasy/slimy like other moisturisers. I try to moisturise after every handwash and I found that this lasts to some degree through several washes, making it good for when you're out for an evening. It's expensive so I only use it when I go out, and I am happy with it for that purpose. At home and work where I can re-apply regularly I use a regular moisturiser. It didn't clear up my cracks but may have helped to slow the development of new ones. I haven't tried using it working outside instead of gloves because it's still too cold to do that. I think those people who complained that it wasn't actually like wearing gloves had unrealistic expectations. It's a bold name for the product but don't take it literally, this product does offer a degree of hand protection that other hand creams do not.

I have tried absolutely everything to ease my sore cracked hands and contact dermatitis but this cream worked wonders used in between applications of hydrocortisone. Loved the non greasy texture and how quickly it was absorbed which meant I was able to go about my day much more quickly rather than waiting ages before I could touch anything. It even helped to ease the itching and pain from the cracking and cooled down any hotness on my hands during flare ups.

maybe it is not a magical cream but quite nice. absorbed fast, nice feeling, but after hands washing to sticky and you have to dry your hands -so wait some time. plus- good for people with allergy- when your hands are dry most the time and you feel tired with using the greasy creams- the one here should help

A miracle product! & IT WORKS!! The skin on my hands were always awful cracked, dry & sore. I work with my horses & I do other manual jobs outside. No other creams have worked for me, trust me I’ve done & tried them all!! I’ve put this on every morning before I’ve left the house & done another application at lunchtime. It’s worked wonders for me & I'm now proud of my hands, they now look normal, clean & they feel so soft. Instead of getting people commenting that they look awful they now comment that they look so healthy.

Great name for a great product. I cannot get Dermaguard anywhere now which is similar but this is just as good. Protects your hands in water and moisturises too. I use it every day and I recommend it. A bit dear but definitely worth it. Last for ages.

Hi, I read reviews on this product before purchasing it They said that if you have very dry rough hands then this product was like a miracle cure to soften hands in a way that no other cream on the market could do. I purchased a bottle and have tried for a few days applying three to four times a day. I found that it does not make the slightest bit of difference to dry skin on the hands and I would not purchase again just for the hands. There are many other more effective creams on the market such as Diprobase cream which is non allergic to the skin and available from the chemist. However "Gloves in a Bottle" is useful if applied on the face as it is light and non greasy, so I would certainly recommend for face but not for dry rough hands.

Feels really moisturising, not at all sticky when worked in. I see why they call it glove in a bottle it does appear to coat your hands, trapping in moisture and protecting. Not at all irritating, for me at least, I do have very sensitive skin.

This stuff works really well but you have to be patient as results only start showing after a few weeks use. My hands feel very soft for a 68 year old. I was recommended this by a skin specialist.
