These are the perfect replicas of the amazing kukri made by cold Steel. Sturdy enough for regular training and built to accommodate most rigorous training requirements. A great purchase at an affordable price point.

exactly what I expected
Well made and sturdy. This is mean for training which in my case is working on forms or kat as part of my exercise routine.

Overall a good training Item
The texture on the grip is much too aggressive for my liking, causing friction burn during even short training. It's much more pronounced than the live blade version of this item. Solved this with a little grip tape and it's now flawless. I can train for hours and it holds up to anything reasonable I ask of. It is excellent not just as a trainer for the live blade version, but a great trainer for Kukris in general. I expect it to hold up to years of use, which is a fantastic value for what you are paying.

I love em (new out the box)
Smaller than expected (bought 2) good weight and pretty good grips as well for the price value wasnt bad either. Just opened them about 20 mins ago and I already love them also being my first item I got from coldsteel. No material is polypropylene some dude left comment clearly buying the wrong one this is the trainer version not the royal this is not sharpened but has a great appearance too.

Like a Kukri, but plastic and lighter
Very well formed and durable. A bit lighter than I would like, but for the price it is a lovely training tool.

Airsoft friendly
Airsoft approved! I was motivated by a friend of mine to try melee out at our airsoft spot. I bought two of them. Both worked out great. Durable, flexible, cheap. Everything I could ask for.

Plastic
I didn't know trainer ment plastic. It was my bad but new buyers beware that this knife is all plastic (trainer)duh. I just saw a black Cold Steel and bought it. I never imagined Cold (Plastic) I mean Cold (Steel) would make a toy. I Smart ,I can't reed.

Not quite as big or heavy as my original Nepalese Khukuri, but it's a close enough approximation for training purposes. At least I hope so! lol

Excelente cuchillo de entrenamiento, le falta un poco de peso pero el agarre es bastante bueno lo he ocupado un par de días y resiste bien los impactos, incluso puede servir como arma contundente, pero si es claro que no es un juguete, muy recomendable para practicar sin peligro de cortarse

Great service and timely delivery, although there was a mail strike on. Great piece of kit for practicing knife and sword techniques. It is made out of sturdy plastic so it will not splinter like wooden practice weapons. Also you can practice your techniques with a partner with little chance of hurting them, when done moderately. Another great Cold Steel product.

After a few hours I've been able to describe the Khukuri. The handle is alright and fits pretty comfy in the hand. The blade is in perfect condition and hurts when hit with it...so don't be too dumb. The only problem I have with this is the weight. It's pretty light and could definitely be better.
