It's Awesome! Actually Using It.
Awesome knife! I purchased this knife to actually use it. I use knives quite often and this one has been used pretty well for the past week. I've harvested Sugar Cane with it, chopped brush and pruned bushes, and have used it for chopping down Mexican Sunflower, Elephant Grass, and Vetiver Grass for chop-and-drop for our fruit trees. Very sharp edge on the knife and holds the edge very well. Chops through cane like butter. The leather dangler shealth is pretty decent as well. I do wish the leather was thicker, but it works. Overall, I am happy with this knife and it has been working out well in the garden. Looks good on the belt too. People get a little weird at times when they see it hanging off my waist, and wonder why I have a knife this large. Whatever, if you mind your own business, you'll always be busy. Just buy it, wear it, use it, and enjoy it.

Best Classic Bowie For The Money
This is an excellent Bowie knife, styled on the classic Western pattern, at a very reasonable price. Best of all, it's 100% made in the USA. You can find cheaper Bowies, some much cheaper, but made overseas. This Bowie is beautiful, well fit, and very sharp, right out of the box. My only complaint is the sheath. While very well made it is a little tight or short. I own several Bowies and, in my opinion, if you're looking for a classic Bowie this is the best bargain for the money.

AWESOME
I just received the blade! Absolutely beautiful and way better than I hoped. If you’re thinking about getting it, don’t hesitate.

Very impressive
I looked at this knife 100 times before ordering, was it worth $ 100? Finally pulled the trigger and yes, it’s definitely worth the price. Solid build, razor sharp and a great build. A beast of a knife and worth every penny.

Gold Rush Bowie 14.75 in.
This is an excellent utility/fighting knife. I chose this knife because it is made in the USA and I prefer a 9-9.5 inch blade. Ten inch and longer are a little unwieldy for me. They feel more like a machete than a knife. I do have a couple of those. The Bear & Son is a quality field Bowie and was razor sharp out of the box. The hand guard had a very slight bit of play. That bothers some people and I am one of those. I never considered returning it. I am told it is common in this style knife whatever the brand. I taped it off and used a plastic tooth pick to get some Gorilla Glue in there and it is now solid as a rock. Later, to be sure, I cut off a small piece of Mighty Putty and forced it into the spaces around the hand guard. I am a lot happier with this knife than a Pakistan bowie. Glad to support. USA company. I would buy it again.

Made in USA Perfection.
IM SO PROUD TO OWN THIS 🇺🇸 MADE WORK OF ART Wow I'm so impressed with Bear & Sons !!! Absolutely stunning craftmanship !!! Bear & Sons Gold Rush Bowie knife is a heirloom Knife that you will pass down for generations. This knife has BEAUTIFUL Cocobolo wood scales and the Sandvik 12C27M Stainless Steel is AWESOME it holds a very good edge. The blade is very close to Buck knives heat treatment. This Bowie knife is balanced PERFECTLY its not to heavy not to light. The hand guard is perfect and tight. Feels so good in the hand. The sheath is very nice leather. Sheath came oiled & fits like a glove. Regular mink oil treatment will keep it waterproofed and lasting for a long long time. I 1000% recommend Bear & Sons cutlery.

Great quality knife for the money
Great looking knife. Arrived in perfect condition. Sheath is nice quality. Came pretty sharp. I gave it a once over on my diamond polishing wheels and it is razor sharp now. Shaves hair like a straight razor. Blade is fairly easy to sharpen as well.

Love this bowie!
I've always wanted a bowie for my collection. I saw this one, and couldn't resist. This is not a cheap bowie with junk steel. Great quality steel, nice finish, comfortable handle, and sharp as heck right out of the box. Comes with a nice leather sheath as well
