I have not fished it yet but I can attest to it's elasticity. I took one and stretched it out to a full four times it's length. It did not tear and it retracted to it's original length. I believe this new ElaZtech material will catch on and eventually replace almost all other soft plastics. At least I hope it does. With this material there will be no more one fish per bait before it's torn up. I've been getting pure silicone soft plastic worms and baits from China because it lasts a lot longer than most soft plastics. This product has even pure silicone beat by a tremendous amount. In the past before I discovered the silicone baits I used worms that were so soft they would tear up with one fish or even fall apart in mid-cast. BTW Bass Pro soft plastic brands seem to be the worst at life expectancy. What's even more insulting is manufacturers go so far as to claim the softness is a plus. You bet it's a plus for them as when a bait tears up after only one fish or as I've had on multiple instances falls apart in mid-cast the manufacturer sells more as you have to buy a lot more to fish them. Do they think we are that stupid? This material will last.and last and last. Z-Man offers other baits including Senko style and lizards made from this material. I say buy some of all of them. If you do you will never go back to the one fish per bait crap. Take That Bass Pro!! WARNING!! Do not store this material with other soft plastics as they don't play well together :)

Simple to use and very effective! I like to use a wire screw to keep it on my wide gap worm hook! Otherwise, it gets knocked up the line and it is difficult to seat properly again!

The swimming action and durability is perfect but is also a downside, i used a screw lock ewg and i found out that because of the stiffness the functionality of the swimbait wasn't good since it would fall off

Standard choice

I like the action of these and so do the fish. At first glance I thought they were too small to produce any good results, but the action is different and in a good way. There’s a lot of grass where I fish, top and bottom of water, so I rarely even use the Ned rig jigheads with these; even the weedless Ned jighead doesn’t cut it in the heavy grass areas. I prefer to fish these with very little weight, just a tiny split shot (size 3/0 or size 7 split shot) right at the top of the hook just to ensure they sink. When it sinks I do a gentle 1 or 2 tugs and then let it sink again. These things sway smoothly through the water so incredibly and I have no idea how, it’s amazing...not to mention the durability! I feel like more weight kind of spoils this kind of action and less weight puts it in more of a “slow-mo” version compared to heavier weight, and adding only a tiny bit of weight just to make sure it sinks has worked for me. I know the Ned rig is highly effective too, but it’s not the only way these can be fished. I guess your own fishing conditions will tell you how to fish it. I like The Deal and Molting Craw colors
