Ergo Chef USA MY AIR FRYER 5.8-Quarts Electric Air Fryer XL 1700 WATTS

Love this airfryer. I searched and read so many reviews before I bought this as a gift. My mother did tell me that she has to put a towel under it because the underside got so hot it cracked her stone counter. So have to make sure that the countertop or surface is protected so it doesn't get damaged

I have used this for 4 months now and I am impressed with the cooking part. I am not impressed with the hardware part. The coating on the inside of the bottom of the basket is bubbling up and peeling off. This has been only hand cleaned with warm water, dish detergent and a sponge. A rubber washer on one of the screws that holds the handle on disintegrated and the screw pulled thru the basket. I replaced it with a s/steel washer. The rubber protective caps on the nuts on the bottom of the basket will not stay on. I was wiping down the outside of the unit with a damp cloth and the Ergo Chef logo smeared across the front of it. The unit had cooled down and was not hot when I did this. Because of coating issue I will no longer be using this. ( Makes my fries taste like rubber bands :-)

These are not very easy to clean. I have to let the basket & the bottom container both soak a bit. Guess I’m spoiled to using foil & throwing it away! Also, a screw fell out of it & it will not stay in place. If I fill the bottom container that holds the basket very full of water to soak, it leaks out because the screw won’t stay in place. I LOVE how quickly I can make dinner & how juicy all my meats come out! It does put off a smell, kind of like plastic burning, every time I use it. It doesn’t affect the flavor of the food but it makes my house smell for a long time. I also wish it was bigger.

Things freaking awesome!!! Little convection oven, I've used it to make chicken queso rice, chicken nuggets, fresh potatoes into fries, frozen raw wings (6). And I really think theres no limit to the possiblities, I'm finding its very good at regulating temperature. Freaking impressed is all I can say. I'm gunna trying cornbread or maybe a pan cookie to see how it bakes, overall prefect for a single parent.

So, overall, this air fryer functions well. Does the job for not being a “brand” named air fryer. I would say the only flaw I found was that the rubber stoppers under the frying basket easily come off when you’re washing it, so be mindful of that so you won’t lose them. Also, it is a HUGE/BULKY appliance (I got the 5.8 quartz), keep that in mind if you don’t have enough counter space. I place it on my metal cart. I’m happy with the purchase. The food/meats I’ve cooked come out delicious!

I use this to cook baby back ribs and country ribs they turned out delicious and brown so pretty. It was unbelievable and it cooked in 30 minutes. This is a must-have the food was really Juicy and great tasting. It has a large capacity so you can cook a lot at one time it has a rack in it so I could stack meat on top of the other . You can cook almost anything you want to in this fryer.

Easy to use, easy to clean, big enough to cook 2 servings of 2 entrees at the same time. The food has been so good, we have forgone restaurants and eaten more at home. I am a horrible cook, but have made fries, chicken, bacon, sausage and steak that taste better than most restaurant food.

I had just recieved this amazing toy, I mean tool, for my kitchen. I used it for helping me with my Thanksgiving meal. This has proven to be a go to tool in my kitchen. It cut down cooking time, and makes phenomenal food. The large 5.8qt cooking ability let's you make a lot of food and the divider it comes with let you cook multiple items at the same time. I have use this everyday when I'm not working in the restaurant and I'm hoping that Ergo Chef will make a professional model so that the guest of the restaurant can enjoy as much as the guests in my home
