Works great for extra protection
This fuse holder kit is solid and easy to use. The holders grip the fuses firmly, and the included assortment makes it perfect for adding extra protection to DIY electrical projects. Good quality wiring and reliable connections. Definitely worth it.

Big fuses don't match holders?
Fortunately I was using the smaller fuses, because the bigger fuses don't fit in the provided housing... Kinda weird, that

Good Quality
This is an inexpensive item and it works well for low voltage / low amperage uses. I measured the Ohms with a fuse in-line and noticed it read 1 to 2 Ohms, when it should be at or near 0. Then I lightly sanded the ends of the fuse and the brass plated contacts inside the in-line fuse holder. That fixed the issue. One complaint is that it's very difficult to nearly impossible to read the amperage rating stamped on the fuses. So I take care to not mix them up and look at the wire size inside the glass barrel if needed. Also, note that this item contains fuses that don't fit into the in-line fuse holders, which is curious. Zoom in on the pics to see the quantity, amperage and physical sizes of the fuses.

Handy kit with ample fuse variety...
Many appliances with electronic control modules have on circuit board fuses. This kit can bypass it rather than replacing an expensive control module once problem is resolved. A little internet sleuthing can find board fuse fixes. A little soldering and appliance is back in business. My primary usage has been in washing machines and refrigerators. Stuck washer inlet water valves or drain pumps fry fuses instantly. Jammed ice makers or shorted compressors do the same. Control boards can be as much as $500.00 so this little kit has saved the day many times.

Nice and sturdy fuse holders
These 18 gauge fuse holders are great. I have used several of these in diy projects around the house. I plan on purchasing more as you can never have enough. I have had no issues with using these fuse holders. The addition of the fuses with the fuse holders are nice.
