Don't buy this - beautiful but doesn't work
My husband bought this for me for Christmas. I was so excited. The keyboard is so beautiful and the sound that it makes as you type just sounds so heavenly. Unfortunately, it keeps disconnecting on its own. I read that I have to update the firmware (mind you, it's not an easy process, as you have to do it over your phone), so I did. It helped for a little bit, and then the keyboard kept disconnecting again. It is like an abusive relationship - for a few hours it would work beautifully and you are so in love with your keyboard, and then another moment it'll frustrate you to no end because it would disconnect for no reasons. I've emailed the tech support back and forth and did everything they told me to do but the keyboard is still not connecting. For a $200 keyboard, it should work seamlessly with your device!! I shouldn't even have to spend any time trouble shooting. Do yourself a favor, don't get bewitched by its beauty. DO NOT BUY THIS.

Setup was pretty simple. Works perfectly
Folks. If you're here reading this wondering, "Should I?" I'm here to tell you, "Do it!!!" I purchased the Olive Green with retro chrome caps with Cherry Blue switches. (the Blue, Red and Brown determine the keystroke sound, Blue being the loudest and what I was going for. I wanted a typewriter, you guys!!). It arrived two days after I ordered it. Packaged well. Setup was pretty simple. Works perfectly! Sounds like I'm typing on my dad's old typewriter, maybe a little like the word processor I learned on in the 90's... FEELS like a modern keyboard. It's lightweight and easy to carry so I can move some place to place if I want to. The tablet does NOT attach securely and merely sits in the cradle which doesn't bother me at all but others may be expecting it to fit securely. You just remove your tablet and carry the two together before moving to another location. I would encourage anyone wanting one, to get it. You won't be disappointed.

Beautiful paperweight - useless as a keyboard
For the short time this keyboard worked, it was a pleasure. The clickety-clack of the keys, the aesthetically appealing look that harkened back to the typewriters of old.It does take some time to acclimate your fingers to the keys but after a bit, it becomes second nature. It can be used for both MAC and PC configurations. The key here was 'SHORT TIME'. It stopped maintaining it's connectivity within a matter of weeks and by the second month, it wouldn't connect at all.I updated the software per the instructions and this had no effect. It's been a year now and after trying new computers, new batteries, etc. and this VERY expensive keyboard is relegated to nothing more than a piece of decor for my office. I don't know if I should be sad because I can't use it or mad because of how incredibly expensive this keyboard was.Sadly, I cannot recommend this keyboard.

Aesthetically in love...
I wanted to keep this soooo bad!Within less than week it lost connection to my ipad. I bought a Samsung tablet the following week. It lost connection to my tablet after a week and a half. Than 2 days after, it no longer sync to my phone. I contacted everyone from the manufacturer to Amazon than Penna's online support services and received silence to fixing this beautiful machine. After 3 weeks later, I had to sum up my decision. Either keep something that doesnt work or return it for something that does. I returned it.As beautiful as this typer is, it's not worth the struggle. Save yourself the trouble.

Not worth it
The typewriter is VERY pretty. But it didn't link to Bluetooth for forever. Support was terrible and didn't help. The biggest disappointment that I actually wish was on the keyboard was a numeric addition. I miss having the numbers on the side. Also, the directions were very confusing so I am unsure what the keyboard can even do. The gadget on the left would be handy but again, no idea what it actually does. The keys also get dirty VERY fast. Which makes it lose its charm. Finally, I wish it wasn't battery operated but rather put a little USB in the back of the computer and still make it wireless.Overall, I am debating whether to keep it or sell it, due to it not being worth the price and being a disappointment. There are other keyboards that are like $50 more I will commit to over this. The color aside, it isn't worth it.
