As a close replica of a popular 3D Printer extruder, the Universal Geared Extruder kit includes all necessary parts to support both direct feed and bowden configurations. Adapters can also be attached to change between 1.75mm or 3.0mm filament. The 3:1 gear ratio is designed to work with a lightweight "pancake" stepper motor, meaning less torque to extrude and decreased weight on the X carriage. Package contents: (1) Extruder body, pre-assembled with filament drive gear and large gear. (1) 90 degree mount for NEMA 17 stepper motor and extruder. (1) Extruder idler assembly. (1) Pinion gear for NEMA 17 motor shaft. (1) Bowden attachment for 1.75mm filament. (1) Bowden attachment for 3.0mm filament. (1) Set of three adapters for use with direct feed hotend and bowden feed attachments. (1) Set of M3 hardware and tension spring to assemble the extruder.
