Speedball B14 14" Round Universal Pottery Wheel Bat

I absolutely love the speedball bats. The dots along the edge to help lineup the bat pins makes these so easy to use and a great added function. The stability of them are also incredible - no wobbles whatsoever with any of them I have purchased. The color of this one is very close to the light blue regular one - wish it was just a tad more on the teal side but still great color. I have a clay boss wheel and brent c and this bat fits both perfectly! Highly recommend these bats - they are a great investment. I bought this black one to transform into a foam bat with the xiem foam that I bought from a pottery store and it fit perfectly!

This bat doesn't warp and is very sturdy. I used it to glue a diamond core grinding pad onto. Worked really well.

Fits well on my wheel, removes easily, and they come in a variety of colors to suit your individual taste. Bats are easy to clean and no worries about warping when wet as they are made of plastic. Lightweight and easy to store.

Nice pottery bat. I'm a beginning-again potter and didn't consider some aspects, like bat pins. None of the many bat pins at my community pottery fit this bat. The heads were too big for any of the openings. I thought I was doing something wrong until a much more experienced potter also couldn't get it to work. I'm about to order supposedly universal pins. When the pins didn't work, I couldn't attach the bat with a ring of clay because it's not flat on the bottom. For my level, I might have been better off with a flat mdf disk. But, it's very nice and will be great once I buy more things for it.

I am a serious potter and these bats are amazing and works great. I highly highly recommend this product!

Great fit on wheel, Clay sticks well and easy to clean. Holds up well throughout time.

Bought for use with a grinding disc- it works perfectly and the base of my pottery is do much cleaner and smoother

When I received this bat, I originally thought that I was going to have problems with it because it feels a little bit thinner than the ones that came with my wheel. Thankfully, they all seem to work exactly the same and I have not had any warping issues with this Speedball bat or my other thicker ones.

I have used these for my pottery and they are great! Stay where they are out and there are two sets of holes for the various sizes of wheel.

Perfect for making plates. Clay comes off easily when leather hard. The notches are really helpful in positioning the bat on the wheel head over the bat pins. I just love using these.

Very good exactly as expected

Did not fit my little Shimpo whisper so not able to comment on quality, looked ok and others have given good reviews so probably fine for standard sized wheels. Disappointed that it was advertised as “fits all” when it doesn’t hence the 3*
