Works Great in My Application
Works Great in My Application -- I have two different voltages in the Structured Meda cabinet in my home. My cable modem, router, ethernet switches, and etc. use 12 volts, but the NVRs for my security cameras uses 48 volts. All the 12 volt devices use black cables so I decided to use white cables for the 48 volt cables. When I ordered these, the listing did not mention the wire gauge which was disappointing, but it did mention “Through Current: Main line up to 6Amp, branch Line up to 2Amp”. My application is less than half those values so I ordered it and it works fine. The cables are not warm or anything. I only needed one for this job, but the 5.5/2.1mm connector is very common so I will probably use the second one somewhere else.

Clean Way to Power Multiple Security Cameras
Bought these to help power my XMARTO wireless cameras. Much easier to have 1 power adapter in a weather resistant box under my eaves and split it off to power multiple cameras. I had previously cut and spliced my own harnesses with my older system, but these were so affordable, I couldn’t pass them up when we upgraded the entire system. Everything plugs in securely and looks much cleaner than splicing my own harnesses. Although I only needed 1-2 and 1-3, it’s nice to have an option to split off to a 4th camera should I decide to add any additional.

you can plug in 4 cameras to just 1 outlet
makes pluging 4 cameras into one outlet.Since most cameras plugs are quite big you can only get one per outlet or 2 maybe 3 in power strip a must have
