Got this after my young adults daughter broke down on the highway. It was at night and the cars were coming so quickly, it was quite scary. Waiting for the tow truck on a prayer that people were paying attention. These are small but they are bright and noticeable and seem sturdy. They snap together easily and come in a compact case and magnetic base is great for stability and windy conditions. Bought myself a kit too. GET IT!!!

UPDATE: had to use it in real world while helping crashes motorcycle. 3 years after purchase, the original batteries are still good and everything works fine. Nice and bright, really life-saving. These emergency lights are pretty descent. They are compact and comes in a convenient storage box. The light is bright enough and will provide a visibility in the night if you had to pull over or stop on the shoulder. I personally bought it as a safety device to use in emergencies (which can happen, but not too often). There were not too many alternatives on Amazon for that price (I mean it’s all the same crap from Alibaba). Given that, here are my pros and cons. Pros: - compact size and flat box they are coming provide a good option to store it in a trunk or tool compartment - I love fireworks, but not sure flares are good in dry California woods. These lights are good alternative to flares - they have white light option which can help if your EDC and working flashlights (you have both, right?) died - batteries. It’s the most reliable solution, just make sure to keep a pack of AAA batteries in your car, and you will always have a light. - they are cheap. For something that most of the time will be stored in the trunk without usage it’s a good value for money Cons: - they are cheap. No one can guarantee that they will light up when you really need them - they are small and lightweight, which can become a problem in harsh conditions - the stand is not very reliable, not sure they will withstand a wind blow from a passing by truck - these lights don’t seem to be water or even splash proof Overall: I keep one set in my and one set in wife’s cars along with other flashlights and emergency tools. Since it’s not the only one source of light in both cars, I’m ok with the quality and find it to be good for money. PS. Even a small problem or a flat tire in low visibility conditions can easily escalate to a nightmare and cost a life to you or others for a very silly reason. Please, invest in your own safety: even if you drive only around your neighborhood, always have in the car a flashlight (s), emergency lights, hi-vis vest, fire extinguisher, etc.

Great little setup to have. Works like advertised, very bright, and easy to use. Am very happy with this. Wife has a delivery business and has used it a few times. Now have a pack in all our vehicles.

Looks like it will work good they are very bright, on the down side they require 3 battery that do come with it but I would have given 5 stars if it was chargeable

It's the perfect roadside emergency essential. Lights are bright and the magnets hold to a metal surface at any angle. I would rather have this than traditional road flares.

Bright and sturdy. Take little space and store away easily. Keep them in the car and also use them for the 'ring of fire' instead of flares on 4th of July

BUY IT NOW!! Buy a set for every car you have. Heck buy a set for every friend you have if you love them. I bought a set 3 DAYS AGO for a road trip. Yesterday we went on the trip and 2.5 hours into it we hit a deer. Totaled the car, 2.5hr taxi ride home. But I think because of these flares we are alive. 🚨🚨These flares kept my husband and my dog and I safe, we could have been hit during the hours we were there. The cops and tow truck drivers all said the magnetic bottoms are innovative because having them on the side of the road means they won't fly away from cars racing by, they can be at eye level so they're easier to see my other drivers! It was 4am when we got the deer and these flares made sure we didn't die. I'm buying a set for our other car (mine is totaled) ASAP. I think I need to get them as lil Christmas gifts for all my family and friends. 💜💜 Amazing value for money, the functionality is amazing, the magnets are strong and durable. The quality is amazing, I bet they'll be used for a long time. And they double as flashlights!! Keep a spare pack of batteries just in case! Great size, great case, great quality. 100 stars!

Great item. Much better & safer than trying to use the fashion emergency flares. The magnet in the end allows for placing high on a vehicle where it can be seen clearly. Strong LED flashing light. Then as a bonus, it also acts like a flashlight if needed as well. I have had mine for a couple of years and have bought them as gifts for family members too.

I purchased these just in case I ever needed them, and last month I had to use them at the scene of a serious vehicle crash, unfortunately. Cars slowed down considerably more after deploying these lights. They're very bright and are perfect to use as torches too.
