I taught students with Learning Weaknesses and Dyslexia. My weakness is in the kinesthetic mode of learning/writing. No matter how hard I tried (try), I write slowly and carefully but still, my handwriting is terrible. It was (is) frustrating to want to write neatly but despite my efforts, it always turns out messy. I do my best, but it is still challenging. I start out okay (the first few sentences) but my print/cursive deteriorates as my fingers and hands tire. Through the years I've tried to find pens, pencils, and/or crayons, and colored transparencies to help. It was a finger in the dyke but not enough. It is fine if I can type, canceling out the kinesthetic weakness, but that is not enough. Eventually, I found a variety of colored pens or pencils helped. In some cases, they helped a LOT! In the process, I learned colored theatical transparencies (used for lighting) work better than anything! I bought a lot of different colors. For some students, putting the right color (for them) on their reading pages worked exceedingly well. Through that experience, I started searching for colored markers, pens, pencils, and more. 35 years later, I still use colored pens or pencils but an array of colored pens can be highly effective for the student/writer/general population. The key is to find pens that are of good quality and glide well across the page. Colors can help readers and writers! I am thrilled to find these pens. At the very least, the broad range of colors makes writing more fun, and the student, in most cases, the changing of colors gives a student/teacher/or people like me a bit of a break.

Wonderful pens

These arrived a day early than estimated. However, the description of the colors you get is wrong. The picture of the product is more accurate. I received 13 of the 14 colors - the brown (Cocoa) was not included but I did get 2 purples so I'm not bothered about the missing color. What I received: 2 black 2 magenta (Berry) 2 purple 2 Slate Blue 2 Teal 2 light blue 2 green 1 red 1 pink 1 light green (Lime Green) 1 orange 1 yellow 1 blue So go by the picture of the product, not the description. Other than that, I really like the pens. The colors are vibrant and "see-able" - the yellow really surprised me. Normally yellows are very hard to see but not this one. I see lots of complaints here about the caps but I do not have the same experience. The caps go on with a click and it takes some effort to get them off again - not much but they don't fall off once clicked on. They do feel loose but again, not falling off. The caps fit my pens on the non-writing end well and do not fall off here either so I'm wondering if this is a new batch with improved caps? Overall, I am happy with my purchase and would buy again.

I LOVE these pens, friends! ... I have found a few of the ones I have purchased...both at Amazon and Staples...write for a time, then, stop writing...and I have to shake them, trying writing on scrap paper...and I finally get them going again...(thankfully!)...but I love the new non-smearing ink!...My sister introduced me to Ink Joy years ago...probably when they were "new on the market"...and I LOVE that they've come out in colors now!...not just the black! Also, I like that they have different size points (either by chance...or intentionally!) I will continue purchasing them!...and hope the skipping and faltering when they still have ink in them...will not be a problem!

We don't often think of the importance of how a pen feels in the hand as we write, but these pens really make using other pens feel less comfortable. The material they're made of is really nice and grippy, making it easier to write. As far as the colors and everything else, you just can't go wrong with the InkJoy pens. They glide smoothly and the colors are vibrant and beautiful. Great buy.

Have bought two of these packs so far. They write well and the ink stays nice and strong. Definitely worth the money.

The packet did NOT contain 2 pink pens and contained doubles of colours apparently where only 1 should exist. Considering Paper Mate selling this, I feel conned and deceived. Buyer beware!
