Recommend as chain slap tape
I love this tape and use it on my bike for chain slap. It is very sticky so I recommend putting on carefully as it is likely to stay for a while. Good stuff.

Excellent use for bike chain stays
This is one of the best products I've found for protecting chainstsys and problem chain slap areas. Lasts, moldable. Definitely use again.

Good thick rubber tape
works as described. My only issue on this is that the other side is also sticky. Used this as a downtube protector on my bike. Its good since it is thick, but attracts a lot of dirt on the trail. Overall good but will find for a better alternative. I also used this to protect the splice on our service entrance and attracts dirt and some flower petals nearby. It attracts insects and becomes an ant nest at some time. Not sure what attracts the ants but replaced it the 2nd time and no problem after that.

Love this product
Great for sealing and plugging holes. Also good for waterproofing non-outdoor crimp connectors, at least as a temporary measure, if you run out of the outdoor style and have to make do.

Great for many things.
Amazing how versatile this thing is, using it as chain protection and also as a cover for my bicycle rear link to avoid mud, rocks and sticks from getting into link area. Tape flexibility is great and haven't had any issues if it starts to peel just replace. Great purchase and will be buying more for sure.

Works well for bike frame protection
This stuff is expensive but pretty much everything from 3M is as well. It works great for bike frame protection and holds up to cleaning and riding. It is stretchy and adheres to odd curves and surfaces. There really isn't anything that I have found that is like it.

Das Band ist relativ dick und läßt sich sehr gut auf Oberflächen modellieren. Die Klebekraft ist sehr gut. Ich benutze es um an meinem Mountainbike durch Steinschlag gefährdete Stellen, ebenso wie die Strebe unter der Kette abzusichern. Das Band erscheint relativ teuer, ist aber jeden Cent wert. Ich kann es für den beschriebenen Zweck vollumfänglich empfehlen.

This seems to do the job nicely. I've used it as a frame protector on my mountain bike at the chain stay. Goes on easily and sticks very well. I can't see it coming off.
