YISUYA Vintage Bronze Doctor Who Retro Dr. Who Quartz Pocket Watch with Necklace & Gift Box

First, let's talk about the watch itself. Outer covering looks fantastic at first, until I noticed that the fixed loop on the watch is not straight and is simply glued on. Then the latch itself is just a piece of bent sheet metal that does not allow the cover to close unless you press the release button. The lens itself is just clear plastic.The chains provided are poor quality and flimsy. The end loops are not even squeezed closed and I had to handle that myself. The chain for actually clipping this watch to your belt has sharp edges on the clasp that attaches to the watch as well as the "rounded" cover that is meant to clip to your belt loop.The pendant that comes with it is simply a rubberized plastic sticker slapped on a cheap bronze wafer.I would have given this less stars if I could, and will be promptly returning this.

Updated about a year after purchasing. So.. it is a little lighter than I expected, but It's sturdy. I think it's aluminum, it sounds hollow. I had to change the battery recently but it seems to keep the time well. The door pops open when you press the button on top and clicks back on when you close it.It was difficult to take the back off and I scratched it up a bit doing so. On the inside, it has a plastic piece, (I'm guessing to keep the battery bits and bobs in place.) Also, It did come with two necklace chains and a pocket chain. (The necklace on the small piece was one of those super cheap ones and if it snags on something, its gonna break.) The other two are nice and a little heavier.Over all, it's pretty awesome and worth the $18 for a DW fan. I used it as a prop at a roaring 20's party.

This is just what I was looking for. I bought one before this one, but it was the cheaper metal one that's endorsed by the BBC as being an "authentic" replica of the Doctor's fob watch. That first one was a joke. This one is the real deal! Heavy, and that aged bronze look in the picture is very accurate. Came packaged very nicely. I don't think I'll ever use the necklace that came with it, but that was a nice little bonus gift. The chain that comes with the watch is perfect for attaching to a button on a suit jacket and then putting the watch in the coat pocket. Looks very authentic when worn with a 10th Doctor-esque suit!

My friend is a huge Doctor Who fan, so I try to find something not very cheesy to get him. This fit the bill perfectly, when he oped the box he was blown away this put his toy sonic screwdriver to shame. Its a wonderful replica and my friends where all impressed at how it looked and felt, mind you this is a round table of RPG geeks, gamers, cosplayers and overall pop culture nerds. One of the cosplayers hounded me to tell her where I got it. I happy I found this as this was one of the highlights on my friends birthday. Overall if you are a whovian you will like this prop and if you are a casual fan this will sit on the shelf with the rest of your stuff and be a great conversation starter.

Arrived on schedule. No dents, dings, or scratches on either piece. Decently heavy, although the chains are a bit light for my taste. However, quite good for the price. Will probably replace the chains with jewelry store quality later on, but should certainly be durable enough in the meantime.Do check your box before gifting. I had to rearrange slightly, as the pocket-chain for the watch was on the top inside the box. However, no damage done, as it is contained in its own plastic zip-pack. Simply a presentation point.Overall, I am pleased, and I think this is going to be a pleasant surprise for my Whovian come the solstice.

The watch came with no instructions, but what can't you find on Google. It came shipped great but the battery was dead. Unsure about time keeping accuracy since I'm still trying to find a place to replace battery. Very cheap plastic cover to time dial. Great necklace, no complaints there. Concerned it won't last long with quality of watch, but I could be very wrong. I'll update review if any issues arise. Bought as a gift for Whovian son and he seems happier than a Timelord in a T.A.R.D.I.S. with it and that's all that matters to me!

I bought this because I love Doctor Who, with was a bit disappointed with the semi cheap feeling metal this was made with, as well as the less than awsome quality of the design on the watch. I was also expecting something a tad bit bigger, I'd say this is about 25% smaller than a typical pocket watch. The main thing this has going for it is it's one of the few DW watches on Amazon that isn't plastic.Probably wouldn't buy again, and might not recommend recommend

I just got it so these are my first impressions: much better than I expected for the price! I got another fob watch at a convention for the same price that was smaller, flimsier, and broke quickly, so I was reticent to buy this one. But finally I bought it for $19.99 and I'm glad I did. It was working when it arrived. It takes an odd little battery and the back design is not to my liking but those are minor downsides.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  It looks stunning. The pendant also looks very nice, glossy and clear. Works fine, hands look fancy. It springs open when you press down on the button on the top, which I like. Turning the button does nothing, you have to put it up, then turn it, and push it down again to change the time, so you can't accidentally change the time with the button pressed down. The gallifreyen engraving looks fantastic also, but I didn't really want the engraving on the back, but oh well. It's smaller than I expected, but I don't mind that much. The chain for the watch to go around your neck looks a bit thin, so be careful in case it breaks. The other chain for attaching to a shirt pocket is thicker and therefore I assume it is stronger. However this chain isn't the same colour as the watch (more silvery), whereas the other one is. It arrived very quickly and overall, I am extremely pleased with it, despite the few minor design features that I didn't like so much (see above) and therefore I give it a 5-star rating.

Bought this for my boyfriend, a self-proclaimed Whovian. He absolutely loved it! The watch is smaller than the one from the series but easily fits even small pockets. The material is pretty good for the price. Easily adjustable and it works fine as a time piece. The writing on the front is the Galeyfrey text, which he identified immediately, the back is a simple yet elegant 18th century type leaf design. I think standard for pocket watches.The chain is a bit flimsy, another chain, probably to attach to the pocket, also comes with it and is a bit thicker. The chain and pendant that comes with it is fine as middle of the road quality wrt costume jewelry.Packaging is of good quality and absolutely giftable. Highly recommend for the Dr. Who fan in your life.

This is a lovely replica of the Doctor's watch. If you are looking for a watch that is a bit quirky and different, or somewhere to hide your Time Lord consciousness, then this is great.The metal is a resonable quality and the pattern is well done. The reverse of the watch is a little plain, but that is true of most watches. The watch face is easy to read. I do think the plastic front of the watch face is a bit cheap, but the watch itself is a very reasonable price, so I think you are getting what you pay for. I don't think it dampens the overall quality too much.I was looking for a watch that I didn't have to wear on my wrist and saw that there was a Doctor Who one and thought I'd give a pocket watch a go. I didn't realise when I ordered it that it came with both a pocket chain and a neck chain, so it can be worn as a pocket watch or a pendant watch. There is also a pendant with it, but I haven't really worn that.I'm sure you could get a better quality version if you wish to part with more money, but I think that this is very good for the price.

For the price you get a pocket watch, small pendant, and 3 chains, set up was very easy, still keeping correct time after a week, it’s more a child’s size watch and I would be nice to have some instructions on how to change the battery when it’s needed. Will add to this if anything changes.

Bought as birthday present. Recipient loved it and has worn it everyday since. It is easy to set the time and the watch seems to keep good time. The watch arrived in good time and was well packaged. Box also contained a free gift, a lovely gesture. Really pleased with it. The watch seems good quality for the price and the necklace is very good quality. I've already ordered other items from this seller.
