Great Product -- A+++ in my Book
I bought this bird netting in my attempt to keep some of my crops from becoming food for birds, chipmunks and squirrels. After fencing off an area to keep the bunnies and my own dogs away from our garden area, I became faced with the problem of how to deal with the smaller creatures who also visit my garden ares and eat as much as their tummies will allow and this of course takes away from the crops we should be harvesting for our own wants and needs.Enter the bird netting, the 3/4 openings to keep the birds away and are also to small for the squirrels and chipmunks to get through so I am very pleased with this so far, the 3/4 inch openings are just large enough for the honey bees to pass through without any problem. The netting does not shadow the crops so they do get enough sunlight to keep the crops growing and producing.I have also noticed that the netting does not stay tangled and is easy to untangle when it does happen, the one flaw is nothing that can be helped however as 3 of our chipmunks have lost their lives when they attempted to pass through the openings and become tangled in the netting and choke themselves when they struggle to escape the net. I did however manage to save one of the critters as I was close enough when it got caught.Yes I am pleased and this winter I will build a wooden greenhouse frame to go over the tops of the 2 greenhouses I have and will use 1/2 " metal 2 foot tall hardware cloth across the bottom and this bird netting will be use to cover the roof and a big part of the side walls. This combination will be the very last step in my garden security from Mother Natures critter helpers.

Great net, but not 25x100.
I did not have any issues with the net tangling like other reviewers noted, however, I do agree with other reviewers that the net does not have 25x100 of usable area. Before constructing my wooden structure, I verified that the net”s width and length were at least 25’ and 100’ without fully unraveling the net. My mistake was that I measured these dimensions separately and not with the net fully extended. There was 0% chance the net was 100’ long when stretched out to 25’ wide along the full length. My net was 105’ long when still coiled up, but very short when spread out. After being up for 6 weeks, it has held up well. I would expect a few blueberry seasons out of it, but may need to replace it due to it being too small. It did a great job of keeping birds out as described.

nightmare to use.
So I have converted my pool into a koi pond. The koi are thriving and breeding but predators are an issue. I have been abke to keep all of them away with numerous methods from decoys I have imitation floating alligators I have all kinds of dangling Chimes and flashy things around the pool that work had to distract most animals from coming but my latest and greatest foe is a blue heron incredibly smart and also incredibly persistent and he's gotten a few of my koi so I have a small portion of square-shaped netting that I was able to cover a portion of the shallow end but I just wanted to cover the entire pool because I don't want there to be any possibility of me losing any more I've got hundreds in there and my biggest breeders are very valuable over 2 ft long at this point ...so I ordered this neting and it is nearly impossible to pull over my kidney bean shaped , nothing straight pool .As I pull it to get across the pool it .shortens the length of the opposite side and if you don't have it exactly pulled evenly every direction the dimensions change dramatically. I have volcanic rock all along the back of the pool and it is different heights and shapes as well so having to pull it over these sticks to them like crazy and it just completely screws up the dimensions and now I have messed with it for over 3 hours and I am so fed up I'm going to order some plaatic or or polyurethane based Square cut poultry cover like I had before that I was able to do by myself no problem whatsoever. I even had my daughter trying to help me with this crap and it's not working whatsoever and I even brought it to the street to try to square it off and staple it to straight boards and it still is a mess. On top of that I can tell that the make of this stuff if it were to dip into the water it would be like Gill netting and hook onto the fish's gills and more than likely kill them so saying this is good option for a protective pond netting it's a drastic mistake. FYI I owned and operated a hardwood flooring business for over 20 years and have been involved in everything you can imagine to do with construction for years .. also currently have 15 aquariums running and have had multiple and I have been obsessively involved in fish keeping my entire life so this is not a rookie thing ...stuff is just not not a good option

Was not 50' square, as stated
I got this to put over the top of my chicken pen, to keep the hawks from killing my chickens, The pen is approximately 37' x 27' so I thought the 50'x50' would be fine. However, after we (5 people) got it halfway up, we realized that it was not square, but rectangular shaped. So, we had to cut one side off and fasten it together on the short side. There are gaps down the middle, which I fastened together with twist ties (but it still has small gaps). It catches on EVERYTHING, my engagement ring, buttons on shirt, roofing on the coop, etc What a nightmare to put up. I hope it lasts for several years...

Koi Pond Cover
I like it. It has openings of the right size since I use it to cover our Koi pond. The food can pass through, but not the leaves.
