Jean Greenhowe's Christmas special

Such brilliant pattern booklets I first knitted Santa and Mrs Clause in 1993 and they have spent Xmas with us every year since and now have been introduced to my 2 grandchildren so I’m about to knit a second generation for the grandchildren to adore just like my children did growing up

I love all Jean greenhowe knitting patterns but this is my favourite I have knitted a number of the toys. It arrived quickly and in pristine condition in an envelope that is card backed so that the pattern didn’t get damaged in delivery

Great as usual

There are patterns for all kinds of knitters in here. Small items, larger ones and all very easy to follow. I personally bought it for the nativity which is really lovely.

Love booklet for knitting, lovely and clear

Here’s a polished review for the knitting pamphlet: I bought this 28-page knitting pamphlet for my mum, who had heard about it in her knitting group. The booklet includes patterns for Christmas toys and decorations, and it was exactly what she wanted to start some festive charity projects. Everything from nativity scene, festive snowmen, Santa, tree decorations and even a Cinderella doll that turns upside down to be both cinders and Cinderella, Priced at £7.99, it was a good value, especially with Amazon’s fast delivery—I ordered it in the evening, and it arrived the next day. The patterns seem straightforward and easy to follow. Even as a beginner who only dabbles in knitting, I feel confident enough to try a few myself. Overall, a great find for holiday knitting.

This is a lovely collection of Christmas items, from Santa and Mrs Clause, to small gift and tree ornaments. I haven't knitted anything yet as I am being good and finishing of my current project, but Jean Greenhowe's patterns are always a joy.

Currently knitting the Nativity Scene this book is known for. Great patterns - understandable and correct. For anyone who likes to knit small items that are shapes (toys, etc.) this is a great book.

This pattern book is easy to follow and you can make fabulous presents and decorations using it!
