Well made and comfortable boot
These are my go to boots. I am in law enforcement and am rough on my gear. These boots are comfortable both summer and winter, durable, easy to get on and off due to the side zipper and protect my ankles from turning when in pursuit. Only minor issue is that they are a little heavier than other boots I’ve worn but not a big issue. Highly recommend.

Glad I tried these!
Glad I tried these! I was looking for a new pair of boots because I work in a tough feild and on my feet all day. Need something that is both comfortable and waterproof. I go thru a fair amount of boots in my job and just planned on buying one of my regular go-to boots when I stumbled on this Smith & Wesson pair on Amazon. I didn’t even realize there were Smith & Wesson boots out there. I’ve been a long standing fan of their guns and the price was right, so I thought, why not? Decided to give em a try. Glad I did. I can’t believe the price because they are really comfortable and they have been keeping my feet 100% dry all day. I can tell you not all waterproof boots keep your feet dry! These seem to be good quality like the other boots I buy but a lot cheaper price than those. Got them delivered quickly, no problems there. I like the Smith logo on the boot heel also. Nice touch. If you like the brand of guns like I do, you should check these boots out. I would definitely buy them again. I will see how well they hold up over time, but I think they will be good for everyday use. So far, they have been great. I would recommend them to anyone working on their feet all day and in harsh conditions like I often do. I think I found my new go-to boot. Now I should probably should go get me another M&P to match!

Great Value, Comfortable, and Well-Made
Purchased these for my son, who is a firefighter, but had to return them since his job provided specific boots. That said, these were an excellent value—comfortable, well-made, not too heavy, and waterproof. They also look great. Would definitely recommend for anyone needing a solid pair of tactical boots!

WP version fits differently than the non-WP version
I bought the non-WP version of the S&W Breach 2.0 boots five years ago. They were very light weight and fit like running shoes. I wore them all the time because they were so comfortable. They also provided great arch support which for me prevents knee pain. I decided to buy a backup pair and saw that there was now a waterproof version available, so I bought the WP version. When I received them, I found out that they are not constructed the same as the non-WP version. They are heavier and fit more like traditional hunting boots. The arch support is not as good and they are not as comfortable mainly due to the added flap adjacent to the zipper to prevent water intrusion. Overall, these are still very good boots, but I'm going to save them for snow and rain days and buy another pair of the non-WP version for every day use.

Surprised in a great way
For other combat boots at this same price, these are incredible. Time will tell if they will last until next year but so far the quality has been there. They also feel breathable which is awesome for those long days.

Nice boot for the money.
So far , this has been a very nice boot for the money. A nicely padded tongue makes the fit firm and comfortable. The side zipper works well and has a Velcro strap across the top for strain relief. The padding in the insole is fairly thin. I will be adding an insert later for fatigue reduction. The boot is light so you cover more ground without wearing yourself out. The stitching and overall construction of the boot looks great. Only time will tell how well they hold up, but I would recommend these.

Great combo motorcycle / walking boot
Needed a boot that would be good for motorcycle riding / touring (Honda VFR 1200). I tried on about 6 boots that met my criteria: fit, waterproof, medium to light weight, sturdiness/protection, multi-season, and - you can actually walk/hike around COMFORTABLY. I've hiked miles and miles in this boot. After six months, it is meeting all expectations in excellent fashion. I have wide feet and this fit true to sizing. So far, wearing well with no issues.

Not waterproof, and not comfortable
tl;dr: These boots are not waterproof as claimed. Don't step in water higher than the bottom of the tongue if you want your feet to stay dry. Also get your own insoles. These boots are not waterproof. The sides of the boot may be, but as soon as water gets to the top of your foot, it starts leaking in. Though the zipper is gusseted from top to bottom (as shown in the product images), the tongue is only gusseted up to midway between the third and fourth eyelet (just barely over the top of your foot). This is neither mentioned in the product description, nor shown in the images. The pictures showing the zipper's gusset extending to the very top of the boot led me to believe that the tongue would have a full height gusset too...because a full height waterproof gusset is pointless if there is another one that extends only half height. If it were just the low tongue gusset these would be three star shoes...maybe I made too many assumptions because the seller provides next to no information, and hey: just don't step in water deeper than about 5 inches and they're still waterproof, right? Wrong, because the rest of the tongue gusset leaks too. It is a slower leak than above the gusset, but it definitely gets in, as my socks had muddy streaks along the whole length of the tongue gussets from the shallow creek I stepped in. To top it all off, these boots are about as comfortable as a pair of wooden boards. I took out an insole to see if it was the problem, and found that they're only about 1/8th of an inch thick and have all the cushioning ability of a piece of fiberboard. The boot felt virtually the same without any insole at all. This is fixable, as the insoles do come out, but I shouldn't have to buy replacement insoles for an $80+ pair of boots right out of the box. I think I'll be returning these as soon as they dry out.

Nice light weight , casual boot ! Great for winter here in southern Canada ( short periods outside). Very comfortable & breaks in quickly.

I’ve had these about a month now and they are holding up pretty well. I do 12 hour shifts and walk on average 17 miles a shift They don’t leak and are pretty comfortable although I did add a foam insole. The biggest problem I have with these boots is they don’t allow your feet to breathe. Consequently my feet are quite sweaty at the end of a 12 hour shift & the boots are beginning to smell quite badly so I’ll need to find a solution for that.

Didn’t have to wait long for them. Light, warm in the winter and very comfortable to wear. Would recommend them to anyone looking for a good tactical boot.
