Audio-Visual Direct Wheeled Lectern Podium - Standing Desk with Storage Shelf - Cherry/Black - Ideal for Presentations and Laptop Use : desertcart.co.uk: Books Review: I use this every day in my classroom and it's a game changer; I don't notice so many back pains because I don't have to bend over at my desk when I've got this! It fits large laptops fine, and I can even lay a chromebook fully open flat and it doesn't hang off. The lip is big enough that it will fit a laptop no problem. The magnetic backing works really well, too, and I have a few magnetic cups I keep on my side for pens and things. Putting it together isn't too bad, but definitely bring some sort of screw driver so you don't have to use the freebie tools included. My only beef is that the wheel locks aren't really strong, though you also wouldn't want them to be too strong or you'd tip the thing over. Otherwise it's light, rolls well, holds a lot, and looks good! Review: As expected. Well made, sturdy. Easy to roll but also has nice locking feature. Not much to say but seems solid and does the trick

I hate putting things together. This item was easy to put together, though. It took roughly 30 minutes. The item was as pictured. When together it’s sturdy. It looks great in our conference room.

Went together easily. Instruction sheet could be better, but hey, it's just a few screws and it's obvious which goes where. I do wish the wheels were rubber, as the Lectern is light enough that the locked wheels do not keep it from moving. But once I get my equipment mounted to it, it will be heavier and hopefully then the wheels will keep it still. FYI, as where this needs to be used has NO power, we are mounting an Inverter, Battery, podium light, and wireless microphone system to it.

There was supposed to be one of these caps (see photo) with nuts preinstalled for each corner of the podium where rubber feet are attached. There was only three and one was totally missing. I looked through all the packing materials and it was missing. I ordered this for a class I am teaching and do not have time replace it before the class, so I had to improvise but it does not look right as the cap is missing on one of the corners of the frame. (photo). Update: After review the supplier contacted me via email and are sending the missing parts.
