Semi-Double Bed

The Sylvanian Families (Calico Critters) Semi-Double Bed 14-Piece Set is absolutely the perfect addition to my dollhouse’s third level, which I am creating as a full master bedroom. I do NOT own a Sylvanian (Calico Critters) dollhouse. More than 40 years ago my Dad custom built (with no set nor instructions) a 3-story dollhouse using the leftover wood & materials from our family home built at least 5 years prior to my birth. The dollhouse measures 36-inches at its widest point & 27.5-inches at its tallest point. There are 4 main rooms between the 1st & 2nd floors, which measure 17-inches deep & 9.5-inches wide. Summer 2014, I discovered & purchased 8 Critter sets. They worked perfectly. . . Yet, I continued experimenting with mixing in various brands because until this past year I was not well-versed about the various scales. I was aware that Barbie furniture is on a 1:6 scale, and continuously saw furniture stating it was on a 1:12 scale. Thus, I presumed that the Critter furniture was 1:12! Imagine my surprise to learn how wrong (& drastically far off) I was! That being said, I have removed every single piece that is NOT Sylvanian (Calico Critter) furniture! The Critters’ furniture sets are slowly but surely bringing together a cohesive interior for my beautiful, custom built dollhouse. Thank you, and have a wonderful holiday season!

Purchased for my 1:12 scale dollhouse, decorated with critter furniture. I live in the U.S. where the C.C./S.F. double wide beds are hard to find. Perhaps they were never officially released in the states. I was happy to find it here. The double wide beds in my opinion appear more of an "adult" bed in comparison to the others commonly seen. It's nice that it includes a lil nightstand and some accessories. The lil jar container doesn't open. I placed mine in the bathroom. The included clock is also much simpler in comparison to some others by the brand (clock pictured is from another set). Good quality as one expects from Epoch. I was able to fit 1:12 scale books snuggly into the shelf of the nightstand.

I just wished it fit more around the critters rather than kind of floating on top. But still amazing and fits both critters well

This was a great additional playset used with the animal families for imaginary play.

This was a gift. My granddaughter was so excited to get it. The seller was also wonderful to deal with.

The bed is beautifully made, with a mattress, a pillow, and a pretty duvet :) My only issue is, because it's a semi-double bed, a grown up pair can't share it very well. But for the size, that is really to be expected. It does look lovely in photos, however, and makes for a wonderful family scene :)
