These Bakugan characters are part of the Legends set. They include 4 characters, Centipod (Bakugan), Surturan (Geogan), Dragonoid (Nova) and Trox (Ultra). You also get character cards for each of your Bakugan and buckle cores (battle board cards), plus an instruction leaflet. First impressions of the Bakugan Legends collection is very good. Nice professional packaging and presentation. Looking at the characters through the packaging window, they look very detailed and intricate. After removing the Bakugan characters from the box, you can see that they have fairly detailed decoration. Each piece has its own design and no 2 Bakugan were the same in design. Bakugan is essentially a strategy game with power card and physical characters that you have to interact with, using them to battle other players. In a game you have 3 Bakugans, a character card for those Bakugans and corresponding buckle cards, which are specified on those character cards. You setup a grid with Buckle cores (Magnetic hexagon cards) that you place on a battle board (grid of Hexagons). Once all players have placed their Buckle cards on the grid, the first player rolls their rolled up Bakugan towards the battle board, then the next player. You win a battle by either being the only player with an opened up Bakugan or with the highest B power if you both have an open Bakugan. If neither Bakugan opens, you roll again until you have a winner. You get the idea. There are many YouTube videos with instructions on how to play. In summary, this set of Bakugans roll up nicely, although Dragonoid was a bit finicky and too a while to work out how to fold it up. It also initially had a few issues opening up in the battles. I attempted it 2 or 3 times without success, but eventually got there. I was also having a few issues with Trox Ultra, couldn’t get it to open up and stand like the others did. The magnet is in the end of the tail, which I sure doesn’t help, but that could just be me. I think the detail on this set is very good and you get some accessories with Trox Ultra. Nice little set.

The set is perfect for playing with friends, or just having a battle with yourself. The pieces are durable, so they can be used multiple times without any damage or wear and tear. Plus, they are easy to assemble and store away in the included box. The set also includes an instruction booklet that provides helpful information about the characters and how to play the game. This is great for kids who are just learning about the Bakugan world. The only downside to the BAKUGAN Legends Collection Pack is the price. It is a bit pricey for the amount of pieces you get. However, compared to other similar sets out there, it is definitely worth the money. Overall, I highly recommend the BAKUGAN Legends Collection Pack. I think I'm old now. I know what Pokémon are, I know what Digimon are, but Bakugan? Nope, no idea. These were new to me, but being all shiny I thought that the nephew would like these. Arriving safely, I took them over to the youngling and his mind just exploded when I presented the pack to him, on the proviso that he plays with them and tells me about them. Anyway, tearing the pack open out spilled four figures, what they are I don't know. I think they're Transformer type things, as you can "fold" them down into balls or barrels, you seem to then put them onto a disc thing, and they magically "self transform" into whatever they were in the first place. The nephew was besides himself as he explained to me what they were and what was happening, and how they light up - though admittedly the lighting up is very "hitty/missy" but it may just be a bad batch... The pack also comes with cards, some of them metal (ish) and I guess there's a card game to be had. These sets are clearly not for the likes of me, but to younglings in the know, they will absolutely lose their minds over this pack, and that is worth the price of admission alone.

I had no idea what these were to be honest, but my daughter knew straight away. They come very nicely presented, as you would expect for a toy of this price. Inside the box are 4 individual collectable characters 'Centipod, Surturan Geogan, Dragonoid Nova, Trox Ultra', plus collectible character and ability cards and Gate Cards'. These little things fold up and open out, a bit like transformers when I was a child. They also have abilities, which has something to do with the cards, and you can earn extra points in battle. One of them even has lights! I'm not entirely sure how it all works to be honest, but the kiddos had it all sussed out in no time and spent a fair while on them. They small figures, and personally, I think they're quite expensive, but if your an avid collector, then I guess this is what you would expect to pay. Overall, for a toy of this price range combined with the collectable aspect of them, I'd say they are worth the money.

My lil one loves this set. It is an awesome collection. The fact they light up is amazing. All Bakugan included in this set are of excellent quality and have some really good stats for the Trading Card Game. The cards included can combine together to form a really cool image. The nanogan are exclusive and epic, due to their transparent with gold accents design that almost look as if they were some sort of diamond nanogan or something. The highlight of this set is the genesis Drago and Wrath. It’s like if they took the ideas behind, diamonds, and Preyas from the original show and gave them some awesome lights and busted stats all combining to form one strong and cool looking pair of Bakugan. Only flipside is that some of them keep popping back open when they are put together. This is slightly worrying as they can easily be broken when storing, if they are not put into a ball. My lil one likes to take them places and worries that one of them might break. Overall, this set is of great value with how many you get. Definitely a good set to give as a gift for anyone who collects them.
