Bohning Feather Fletching Tape, Red, 720"

This tape makes fletching with feathers quite easy. Small learning curve separation of double sided tape. Used a pointed tweezers and works great. Professional looking job and seem to be very durable. Will defintly buy again.

I re-fletched a dozen arrows, removing the old 3" vanes in favor of 5" turkey feathers. After scraping off the old glue, and a quick wipe with some alcohol I applied the feathers using this Fletching Tape. Rather than having to endure the wait time for standard glue to adhere, Using a Bitzenburger Fletching Jig, I was able to press the feather release the clamp and move on to the next. To be fair, I did use a dot of glue fore and aft of each feather, and let it set 24 hours. The result was a very professional looking 5 degree helical fletch, with no glue residue, no gaps, and solid adhesion. I put in several hours of heavy practice with these arrows over the course of a week at Scout camp. I never experience any part of the fletching come off the arrow even after a partial or complete pass-through of the target. Good product. Definitely buying Bohning Feather Fletching Tape again.

This tape works very good. I tried the glue and made a mess. After cleaning the arrow I applied the tape to the vanes and it stuck immediately and held great. I did apply glue to both ends of each vane I put on and have not had any issues. Lesson learned use the tape.

I've been using this stuff for a couple years now. Pros: Awesome for fletching spin wings. Cons: Actually kind of crappy for fletching feathers - the edges of the feather pull away from the tape over time.

So much easier and faster than glue. Not to mention less messy and annoying. If it weren't so expensive I'd probably never go back to glue.

Jury is out whether or not these will hold up to shooting. Seem to come off my carbon arrows with little force from side. Would definitely NOT shoot them with out tip and tail drop of glue to secure them. Much less time consuming that glue methods works well with Bitzenburger jig. Makes field repair more an option.

Having had trouble using glue to fletch my arrows, thought I would give the fletching tape a try. The fletching tape works so much better. The tape really hold the feathers tight. Now I only use a drop of glue at the front and back of the feather to make sure the leading and following edges have some extra protection. Had a little trouble at first getting the peal off nonstick cover started. Found that the point of an x-acto knife helps separate the nonstick cover from the tape, once you get it started it peals off easily. There are some good U-tube videos that give you some tips on using this product. Fletching tape will now always be in my archery tool box.

Watched a few videos on fletching and decided to give double sided tape a try. The advantage is in the event your fletching comes loose or off, as long as it’s not damaged, you can reuse it and no scrapping on the arrow shaft to remove glue or leftover fletching material.

Bought the tape to save my self from scraping glue and bits of feathers every time I need to refletch my arrows. Took a couple feathers to get the hang of but after that it worked great, I’ve got arrows I fletched last year that are still going strong
