I did something to my dominant hand, I think it was a simple as lifting a small object at work, and I couldn't use it without being in excruciating pain. Probably pulled a muscle in my thumb or wrist. Anyways, I had an appointment with my GP for an unrelated thing but asked what I should do. They suggested I get a support and wear it whilst at work to help in the healing process and take it off at night to build strength back into my hand. I thought I'd try this one as it was inexpensive and seemed to tick all the boxes, small, metal bar, velcro, black, and so on. I have to say that it fits well, I have it a bit snug which feels lovely in the aide of relieving the pain. So far so good, it's only been a couple of days but its doing what it was meant to do. It's not bulky and it's not that noticeable. I can still slide my hand into the sleeve of my coat, so it lovely and slim. I definitely recommend.

Given the price, I don't think this wrist support is too bad. It's unlikely to be suitable for athletes but I needed something to assist with a small sprain that kept getting agravated by movement. The fabric itself is comforatable although I did find that I have to be quite particular about the placement of the straps themselves. I found that if I didn't get these just so the velcro tended to rub. The inclusion of a metal brace is nice and was unexpected for such an inexpensive product. The stitching quality isn't too bad - there's maybe an odd thread that is loose but the support feels like it will last and not fall apart after a few days. One thing I do want to mention is that the sizing isn't what I would consider "one size fits all". I have fairly slim wrists and whilst the strap around the wrist has some room to play with I'm not sure that people with larger hands would have much room to adjust the thumb strap. Even on my fairly small hands it can feel quite tight. Whilst it may be that with some adjustment and playing around it will fit larger hands I felt this was something worth mentioning. Honestly for the price I think it's good value although if you need something a bit more adjustable it might be worth spending a few extra pounds but if you're looking for a cheap brace to tide you over for a few days this might be ideal.

I was really disappointed with this wrist support. As soon as I opened the packaging, I was hit with an extremely strong chemical smell. It wasn’t just a mild “new product” odor it was so pungent and unpleasant that I couldn’t even keep it in the same room. I actually had to put it outside in the shed because the smell was that overpowering. The brace itself looks functional, but the odor makes it completely unusable. This is something that’s meant to sit directly against your skin for long periods of time, and I genuinely question what kind of materials or chemicals were used in its manufacture. It smells like strong industrial rubber or solvent, which doesn’t exactly inspire confidence when it comes to skin safety. I have no idea what chemical this is made from (possibly some kind of neoprene or synthetic rubber with heavy processing residues), but the intensity of the smell makes me very uncomfortable about wearing it against my skin. If you’re sensitive to smells or have sensitive skin, I would strongly recommend avoiding this product. Unfortunately, I won’t be using it and will be looking for an alternative.

This wrist support brace has been really helpful for easing discomfort. It’s easy to adjust, fits comfortably, and provides good support without feeling too bulky. I’ve noticed a reduction in strain, especially when wearing it during repetitive tasks or at night. The material feels breathable and well-made. Overall, a great value option that does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

Fits very well, doesn't rub against wrist surgery scar and great support. Only down side,after 2 month of use the velcro deteriorated and I had to get fresh velcro stitched on.

Love this. Had an injury from working too much and this has helped stabilise my wrist when needed. Could sleep with it as it's so comfy. Great that you can remove the metal support brace. Great value for money as it looks and feels like quality materials.
