3 costumizable buttons on the front are great for utility
I bought it for around $320 or so in Jan 2015 and used it for a year by now.It has decent specs for the price. I played hearthstone and machinima on it. It was smooth.It has glass body on both front and back. 3 costumizable buttons on the front are great for utility. The overall design is thoughtful. But because it's so different from what is popular right now--aluminum body, whether people will like it or laugh at it totally depend on personal preference.The operating system is very easy to use. They put a lot efforts on it. There are a lot of simplification compared to native android OS. Yet you still can use apps like airdroid to take advantage of the openness of android system if you want.As of today (1/9/2016), the whole system is designed for users in China. That means it lacks English support. I think most people will like the OS, but lack of English support kills the deal. It doesn't come with google app store and google apps. Because for obvious reasons, you can't get any google service in China. You need to install them by yourself. It comes with cloud service, but the server is in China. So it's very slow to use in the US.When running demanding programs, it can be a little hot. That's the common problem of the recent generations of snapdragon series CPU.Overall, it's good quality and user experience for the price I paid.
