Gives you an instant relief and then a bigger sense of relief later after it's in your system longer. Probably wouldn't work for someone with legit anxiety.

There are a handful of herbal combinations that have been staples of Nature's Sunshine for 30+ years. That's because they were designed by Jeanne Burgess, the famous herbalist (bless her soul). You know these supplements because they end in J for Jeanne. I've used ALJ and STRJ (now called Stress J) for years and so have my children. For the past two years I've been using Nutri-Calm. If you haven't used Nutri-Calm, it comes in huge vegitabs that are like horse pills. They smell and taste horrible and you have to take three to have any effect. It is really hard to swallow those pills, especially three of them and they sit in your stomach for hours. I don't think I've made it through an entire bottle. So I went back to STRJ (now called Stress J). This is like a mini-Vicodin pill without any of the side effects. Within fifteen minutes of taking the dosage of 3 you visibly relax. If you have TMJ (temporomandibular joint syndrome) or PTSD (post traumatic stress syndrome) this will do wonders for you. I have both and it made a noticeable difference right away. My jaw relaxed, my back relaxed, I stopped worrying about all the things I didn't get done today and all the things I have to do tomorrow that I don't want to do. Seriously. I've never taken Valium, but my guess is that this is what it feels like. Totally relaxed. Thanks Jeanne. ;)

I've been buying this stress capsules for a year now and I believe they're effective. I started using these along with some other natural supplement when I had been unable to sleep for days and days. The additional natural ingredients these supply pair easily and safely with most anything else or just by themselves. I keep them on hand now as a little help with midday anxiety in between my scheduled every 12 hour prescribed dose. As the prescription loses it's potency around the 7th hour after dose, I take one or two stresstabs capsules and they seem to help me. They've never left me drowsy and the natural ingredients can cause no harm. The directions suggest taking 3 capsules, however I've only taken at most 2, so with 100 in the container, they'll last me 50 days.
