Highly recommend for organized students
I can't recommend this pen highly enough for a student who likes to color code different parts of their notes! I'm an engineering major so taking good, complete notes can be difficult. Professors tend to jump around in the lecture which means it's helpful to have arrows in different colors or diagrams, or even just a different color to show that there's a brief break. They also tend to throw in important words that need to be distinguished. The worst, though, is when they go back with just a small aside or comment to something they said, where writing it in linearly is confusing or unclear. What ends up happening is at the end of lecture I end up with a pile of pens and highlighters on my desk! This is a pain when I then have to rush to my next class.I've used a lot of different multi function pens, but this is the only one I've found that also includes a pencil so I don't have to switch between them a lot. The colors of pen are very sensible and a good number, and I love that this comes in .05 because that's my preferred writing width. I prefer to write my main notes in black, examples in pencil (for math mistakes/spacing issues), important words in red, and asides in green. Blue varies depending on need but is great for distinguishing different sections. The pen mechanics are very smooth and I've never had any of the individual colors break, unlike other brands of multi pen.Overall, a great pen/pencil I highly recommend! It even comes in lots of fun colors.

The first HIGH QUALITY multi-pen I've used. LOVE IT!
As an avid journal writer, many years ago I singled out Uniball Jetstream as my favorite pen (even better than the pilot G6, which was a close runner up.) Twenty or so years later, enter Uni Jetstream multi pen AND pencil. WOW!!!! It's a multicolor pen that writes smoothly, the ink is the same quick-dry no-smudge kind as the beloved jet stream, and it even has a pencil! It's not the cheap old fashioned regular ballpoint multi-color pen of yesteryear that kids would get in their Christmas stocking (those gargantuan "toy" like pens with ink that skipped and that wouldn't reliably write.) Love the uni multi so much I bought this in both yellow and purple. Great to have just one pen in my bag for regular uses *and* special needs like color-coded labeling for varied priority and needs; for creative whimsy; and for times when pencil's erasable factor is needed. Adding to this, the outside of the pen comes in such an attractive menu of colors, and the design is so sleek and stylish. As it is truly many pens in one, the cost reflected at $10-$12, but it contains so much joy for the money. I kind of what to buy it in elegant black too (and let the fancy color inside fly under the radar), also green, because a gorgeous shade. Getting back to Christmas, I actually would buy this as a small gift or stocking stuffer, but because it's so darned SPECIAL, and I kind of feel like everybody should have one and know the joy of a multi-pen that really really works, and is beautiful.

Love the pen, even compared with others in the same category.
I'm one of those that always goes to the local office supply store and has to look at the pen section. I have to say that I Love this pen! It has a slight weight to it and the ink writes really well and smoothly with no skipping (although one point to warn you about - it does "glob" very little once in a while, but not enough to bother me) . It has really thin tips/point, so if you don't like fine point pens, you might want to get something else. The weight is just enough to make it feel substantial, but not too heavy to make my hand tired. It's actually nicer than in the picture shown from the product description. The barrel is nice and smooth with a metallic feel. I've already ordered replacement ink, just in case. It's nice to have a mult-function pen/pencil, but the diameter of the barrel is like that of a Papermate's PhD multi/pen/pencils. I bought these and the zebra clip-on multi and have to say that I like this much better, and it looks nicer, weight feels better, and looks more professional. In the picture, the jetstream is on the left, the middle is the zebra and the right is the PhD. I'd highly recommend the jetstream above the other two - if you're only going to splurge on one, get this one.

Hands down the best pen
I am a pan fanatic so I’m really picky when it comes to buying pens that will do the job, is multi-use, helps my handwriting to look neat and is comfortable. Most of the times these types of pens are expensive. Since I am a student, I have to buy pens that are within my budget. This pan has been my favorite pan for the past two years. I love that I can use different colors and even use it as pencil. So if you’re looking for a pen that is versatile and within your budget, this is the pen.
