Exactly what I needed
My gaming machine was missing one important jack: a mic jack up front. I'd always just used USB headsets, but the time came for something better, so I needed an extension cord. This had good reviews and was plenty long, so I ordered. I've been using it for several days and I've found the sound quality to be excellent. It does precisely what I'd hoped.

Perfect gaming remote wire extender.
This unit works perfectly. I needed a wire that I could use to extend the wiring for a gaming remote to a nintendo switch. So far it works great and now I have the distance I need so that I can play with the switch on the tv and still be able to use my gaming headphones.

DO NOT BUY - It can damage your hardware!
I bought this product three months ago, it did its job, although with a noticeable loss of audio quality.Today I unplugged it to move my desk and… surprise! The Mic jack broke, and a bit is now stuck in my case.The case is an old Corsair Carbide, I plugged at least a dozen other headset or extensions there with no issues until today.How am I supposed to get that thing off now?

Poor sound quality
Output is of a poor sound quality when used as an extension lead. Only fit for the bin.
