Papaiz Storm Door Lock - Door Handles - desertcart.com Review: Worked out well. - The only problem was the holes in the trim plates, both inside and outside, did not quite match. So I had to wallow out the holes to get the screws in which affects the appearance a little. Review: perfect replacement - needed to replace this lock in a security storm door that broke after 10+ years. My locaal door & window guy told me he couldn't find a replacement in any of his catalogs & I should buy a new door....hmmm, Brief search on desertcart found this- came very quickly, perfect replacement was the easiest job as it fit all the premade holes, even came with an allen wrench to secure the handle setscrew. BTW it was single cylinder, with a turn knob on the inside, my previous had double cylinder, which was a PIA, so it was even better than new. And this one is marked made in USA which I always like to keep my fellow Americans working. KEEP IT UP!

Lifesaver.
I could not find this lock anywhere in my town and needed it to replace a steel door lock that was 20 years old. It arrived in a flash and was exactly what I needed.

Difficult handle to find in person, glad to have found it online
I have been looking for the correct handle for my storm door, at the stores near me, but to no avail. I was very excited to find this product online. And especially on Amazon at a decent price. I just bought an older home with a storm door and the handle is broken. Broken from improper installation, I'm assuming when they originally bought the door. Anyway, I bought this handle, installed it (properly!) and it works great. Only setback is you need a key to lock the door, from both the inside and the outside.

Security Lock
This lock was put on a backdoor security lock. A small adjustment had to be made. In order for the lock to fit the space where the old lock was, it had to put in upside down. However, it works. I am satisfied with it.

Frustrated
The handles became loose, in about six months and then the latch dislodged and fell off. Try to reconnect but to no avail.

Perfect fit.
My old Papaiz handle broke - the inside handle snapped off. This one was easy to install, using all the old holes so no drilling required. It looks good and only took about 20 minutes to install. Glad to have a working handle on my storm door again.

NOT THE PRODUCT ADVERTISED
I received not a Papaiz MZ35 lockset, but a "MTS 323" lockset that did not fit the original mortised opening in the door either lengthwise or depthwise. At first look the product appeared to be a useable replacement, but when I hired someone to install it the case turned out to be otherwise. As it happened I was going to be out of town for a length of time and was in hurry to get at least something workable on the door, so I ended up using just the handles and plastic washers that came with the replacement (the original handle had broken off), and made do with the existing old lockset. In other words I paid $70 plus shipping for a new handle. The product I received appears to be a good-quality lockset, but it absolutely does not fit in the same openings as the Papaiz; if you buy it, you may or may not be able to make it work with your door. But it's definitely not a simple case of take the old one out and slip the new one in.
