So our Little Girl really loves her makeup set. She's been trying the different makeups ever since she got it. We've ordered so many "Make it Real" brand products in the past, that we were confident that this would be of a good quality plus safe for our princess. Now, here's the funny part.... Our Daughter has NO CLUE what a Polaroid camera is. She thinks it's a cash register makeup holder. And for whatever reason, she thinks that it makes the makeup set that much cooler. Because she's never seen anything like it in stores, or when I'm skimming through stuff on Amazon on my phone and she's peeking to see if I scroll past anything eye-catching. She likes playing "store," loves playing make believe like my Wife or I are customers and buying stuff from her. So she just has a thing for any sort of toy cash register. And that's what she thinks this is. And why not, the audience of this makeup set will probably never even know what a Polaroid is. The other day I had to explain what a rotary phone was, when we spotted one on display in an old-fashioned ice cream shop. You get the idea. Is it worth getting? I think so. Our Daughter obviously loves it. I will admit, it's a little strange to me that out of all the things Make it Real choose to turn into a makeup holder, they picked a Polaroid camera. But remember, as parents we shouldn't rate stuff based on what WE think. But really, how much our kids enjoy whatever the product is. So while her talking hamster toy that repeats everything you say may drive my Wife and I crazy, it still gets five stars because our Little Girl loves it. She's happy with this makeup set, so it also gets the five stars she would give it if she could rate it herself. So it gets the thumbs up from us.

Cute make-up kit for kids. I like that the set is self-contained; making clean-up easy. The make-up is gentle and washers off easily. I'd prefer for the colors to be more subtle for this age group, but my 9-year-old has enjoyed the set.

My girls loved this. Unfortunately there's not a lot of makeup in it. I also don't know what they did, but the makeup clumped up within a day, and was almost all gone within that week. Were they putting too much on, yes, they're 7 and 9 year old girls. But not so much that it should've been gone that quickly.

My daughter loved this makeup kit. It looks adorable and has lots of little varieties of makeup for them to try. Well worth it!
