SHOOT Earplugs- Intelligent Hearing Protection for shooting

Used in a hide next to a trigger happy shooting partner and reduces the shotgun blast massively. Not as good as custom fitted electronic plugs but at about a 50th of the price they do more than expected. Comfortable when in and didn't need adjusting even after firing a shotgun over 200 times. Small metal carry case is also useful and keeps them safe and clean when not in use.

Absolutely perfect for clay shooting. Comfortable to wear. Able to hear conversations. Reduce gunshot noise to comfortable level. Would definitely recommend.

Allows you to here quite noises, but takes the sharp crack off of the shotgun blast, it also dampens machine (bandsaws etc) noise too. You can here people speaking very easily, although they do sound ever so slightly different. I would prefer them if they were bright orange so you can see them against the grass more easily when you grop them. Would rather they were slightly less expensive but I would recomend them, but make sure you dont drop them in the feild at that price!

I shoot a target air rifle, and always use ear protection of some sort. Wax earplugs are not ideal, as I do like to hear some of what is going on around me. Ear valves work better, but are bulky. These work even better. They are small, comfortable and cut muzzle blast down a very great deal, to the extent that the noise of a shot is almost unnoticeable (the spring resonance isn't, though). There is only one real problem: these can be a sod to remove from your ears. Read the instructions, and keep tweezers (or something similar) handy, as with big fingers like mine, these earplugs can be impossible to get out of your ears.

These ear plugs are very small when compared to other ear plugs. I purchased a pair and as soon as I saw them realised they would not be suitable due to the size having compare them with some other I have. I tried to return the item but apparently there is a returns policy that prohibits the return, this was not clearly describe on the advert, really disappointed. I understand why it would not be possible to return them if used but to have a policy that prevents the return without using them seems mad. £20 waisted.

Does not dull conversation when in use.

I bought three sets of these for me and my clay shooting buddies to try as all of us have out of date custom moulds. The general consensus across all three of us was the same, that when we could get a good seal they work really well. The filters take the Harmful "Crack" out of the shotgun blast and the ambient noise pass through is really good. Almost 'sounds' like they are not there until you start shooting and you notice the attenuation of the louder noises. However, the manufacturer needs to listen to all the other feedback about size as between the three of us these are just too small for average Adult Ears. They need Wider diameter flanges or and extra row with a wider flange? and a longer stem to aid insert and removal. Basically if you put these filters into a larger plug like the Old Universal HOCKs Noise Breakers nor the surefire EP4 format, they could be brilliant as the tuned filters work really well when a seal is achieved. Unfortunately the three of us experienced that regularly you would feel the plug seal break and would get more noise of you didn't notice in time. So sadly not reliable enough to trust my hearing to.

These ear plugs fit your ears really well, they don't alter there shape at all, I have used them every time I have been out they come with their own holder that fit in your pocket nicely or could go round your neck on a necklace if you wished good quality that will last
