Seems to be of good quality and easy to install. Works real good, has good volume and seems to be accurate.

This works and fit my clock perfectly! The tone is nice also, there are 4 different ones.

How to synchronize the chimes with the clock. The installation of the clock movement itself provides the orientation of the housing with the hanger in the upright position and tells you to install the hour, minute and second hand at the 12:00 position. If you did not have a chime, this would not be a problem, but...the trigger mechanism may not be at the1200 position on the new movement. Mine was not, which created a little confusion. So, you have to find the hourly trigger. Don’t install the hands yet, first…. Install and connect the chime per instruction. Once connected, insert the batteries and, when pressing the “set” button, it will chime to 6am. To confirm the chime is working, press the “set button again and it should chime 7am. Now you have to find the trigger on the clock. Don’t install the hour hand yet, install the minute hand by pressing carefully. Slowly turn the minute hand clockwise (using the thumb wheel on the back of the movement) until the chime activates and chimes the next hour, which would be 8am, unless you played with the chime more. You have now established the hourly trigger point. -Remove the clock (not chime) battery if you had installed it. -Carefully remove the minute hand. -Install the hour hand pointing at 8 (unless again you played with it, then whichever hour it chimed) -Install the minute hand pointing at 12 -Install the second hand pointing at 12 You are now synchronized, install the clock battery.

So happy to be able to find this set and repair my small grandfather clock which was damaged moving. It was easy to install following the instructions given. Everything works as expected.

I wanted to go "old-school" and get the original works repaired. Received 2 quotes of $800, without a guarantee that it would work. Then attempted to get replacement works, but fitting the face and cabinet was not to be. I researched a lot of options and settled on this unit due to the reviews. I had to build a framework for the mechanism and components to attach to the back of the face because the cabinet had no interior structure. I drilled a hole for the speaker and used a glue gun to attach it. It was a bit difficult to synch the time and chimes. 12 hours later, it is still keeping perfect time. The chimes sound very authentic.

Works as advertised, but the attachment of the hands is not very good.

I am very impressed by the packaging and the date is was delivered. It was delivered very quickly way before it stated on my receipt. As for the packaging, it definitely was done very well. The package had no damage whatsoever which is great when dealing with small parts. The chime and movement was easy enough to install, but I could not understand the added installation instruction on paper. So I gave five stars because it was worth it. I would purchase it again.

I looks great , we received the right part, but when i put it together in my wall clock, it didn't hold the time, changed the batteries twice, but notice the hand for the seconds wasn't working right and affected the time. So i removed the hand , left it out and since the movement is working perfect, strange instead of returning we decided to keep it without the hand for the seconds. We are happy.

Not sure haven’t had time to change out the old in the clock.

The clock was very difficult to set and coordinate with the chime. Instructions were useless. Does not have quarterly chime only hourly. Recommend buy another.

We received a set with a stem that is about 1/4" longer than that........ I have not had the time to get this problem addressed.. other than the long shaft it otherwise works fine when tested but for the shaft being too long so it can't be hung on the wall.
