I am using Fortune rinse aid with my Siemens dishwasher for about a year now and I am fully satisfied with it. Be prepared for lengthy review! 😃 Dishwasher is relatively new concept for Indians and as per Indian style of cooking, certain trail and errors are necessary before choosing detergents/tablets, rinse aid and salt. Certain facts which are true even if you use of dishwasher unlike manual cleaning as under: 1 Light scrubbing is necessary for medium/highly soiled utensils. 2 Dishwasher results may not be good for too much dry kept utensils. So it's advisable to keep dishes wet in sink before loading in dishwasher unless you are using just after meals just scrap off food. 3 After installation of dishwasher, for first time use...add a glass of water in salt compartment before adding salt. The installation guy will not tell you this. Then you can fill salt till it is fully filled. 4 Although certain brands recommend certain detergents, it is not necessary to stick to those brands. You can do trials of different detergent/tablets...after all it is disposed with water! 5 All Bosch/Siemens dishwasher default settings have H4 for salt and r5 for rinse aid. You can change them as per quality of hardness of water in your area. 6 Generally white stains in dishes are found due to overdose of rinse aid. So never fill rinse aid compartment fully...as it may sometimes lead to soapy residue and white stains on dishes. 7 Never use detergent in excess. A small teaspoon is enough for highly soiled utensils for full load. 8 Clean of dishwasher filter once a week. Also dishwasher itself needs cleaning once a month. The best is to keep a cup of white vinegar on top rack of dishwasher and run a full empty hot cycle. Your dishwasher will be fully clean. 9 Most important - If you are using tablets still you need to use salt and rinse aid for proper results The best settings I found to my Siemens dishwasher after many trials and errors are as under: SALT H7: Highest salt setting as I have extremely hard water in my area. Default settings may work if you have soft water in your area. I use Fortune salt. RINSE AID r5: Default rinse aid works for me. I use Fortune rinse aid. DETERGENT/ TABLETS: I use "Finish" detergent (better than Fortune) OR Fortune tablets ....along with fortune salt and fortune rinse aid. WASH CYCLE: Auto or economy everyday as per my need. Intensive cycle once a month for cleaning of dishwasher as I mentioned earlier. Never use tablets in quick cycle as does not dissolve properly and give poor results. Now coming to product Fortune rinse aid i review as under: PROS: 1 Quality of Fortune rinse aid is better than international brand Finish. 2 Fortune rinse aid can be used for any brand dishwasher: Bosch, Siemens, IFB, LG. CONS: 1 Wide opening of bottle makes it difficult to pour rinse aid in rinse aid compartment of dishwasher. Verdict: I have posted my review after using this rinse aid in my Siemens dishwasher for a year now with highly soiled Indian vessels. It is very useful with dishwashers and we get much shinier dishes when we use this product. It is cheaper than other similar products. However, I wish they will design the cap so that it becomes easier to pour the liquid into the small openings usually provided in the dishwashers.

While the bottle says 150* loads it really only last for around 60-70. So turns out to be more expensive per load than other brands.
