It is a little spicy, but I do not think it is as spicy as pure wasabi.

I use this sauce alot but it has a eggy smell but no eggs listed in ingredients . Why?

Because it doesn't contain eggs. Why would they list an ingredient it doesn't have? Not sure why you think it smells eggy. I love the stuff.
