I had a coupler pin in place on my trailer that should have been an exact fit. But because the lever was slightly bent it was hard getting the old one through all the holes. I wanted one that was slightly smaller without being fragile or weak. This CURT Trailer Coupler Pin is perfect. It’s just a little thinner, but still strong and sturdy. It will work for my trailer just fine.

Works great

These pins go on extremely tight since the latching part of the loop isn't angled for a quick release and quick attachment. And because you have to bend the square wire further apart to get it over the end of the pin, it's rather stiff and it doesn't work that well. But it turns out all you need to do is intentionally bend the square wire part a bit out out of square (further apart), it makes It much easier to attach and disconnect. Great price though, so well worth the minor effort.

Curt is a well-known, respected company that manufactures and sells quality products. I've purchased everything from these small, inexpensive (but effective) coupler pins to thousand-dollar fifth wheel hitches with the Curt brand on them. I have never been disappointed. I got these for securing a trailer onto a trailer ball. These are easy-on and easy-off, but securely hold my trailer onto the ball. Yet when I'm ready to unhook, it's a quick snap and remove. Once this is in place, your trailer will stay firmly attached and follow wherever you go.
