I wore this ring for two years as a wedding band, daily. The construction is great and it held up perfectly, with the chain still able to smoothly spin even after dust and grime and sand. That part is impressive. However the design has fundamental flaws that require high-maintenance behaviors. I had never worn a ring daily before this, so I thought for two years that all daily ring-wearers had to do these annoying things. If you are like me and haven't worn a ring daily before, please at least read about these issues, even if you decide to buy, so you don't get caught in a lifelong trap like I almost did. I purchased the black ring so you can skip this paragraph if you're not considering black. This is the only point of mine that is opinion. Thick black rings look great off a finger, but look horrible on a light skin tone like mine. I wanted something that was more unique than the typical wedding band, something that went against the grain and made a bold statement, but it just looks bad the second it goes on. The contrast draws the eye, and not in a good way. It turns out there's a good reason you don't see dark wedding bands on light skin tones often. Second, the ring retains moisture between the finger and ring. I believe this is mostly due to the large 8mm width, and perhaps the nooks in the chain also contribute. When I wash my hands, it makes my finger underneath the ring get gunky and irritated because the moisture can't dry. Even if I take it off during washing, the residual moisture still gets clogged up beneath the ring when I put it back on. I don't trust myself to not lose it, so the weird workaround I did was to attach a carabiner to a belt loop on my pants, and slide the ring onto it whenever my hand gets wet. This was the first "uh why doesn't everyone have to do this?" clue that something was off. Third, the fidget feature of being able to spin the chain independently of the ring, while super cool and a great talking point, is not much better as a fidget tool than being able to spin a standard ring around your finger. It is better, but only maybe 20% better. Lastly, you will never get out of the habit of applying sunscreen or lotion or soap or shampoo using your ringed hand, and having the chain scrape your skin painfully. This was especially bad for me when I got a tattoo on my non-ringed side and needed to apply lotion with my ringed hand. For some of those scrapes the pain lasted multiple days. This doesn't happen with a traditional ring with a smooth outside. I switched to a no-frills 6mm silver-colored titanium ring a week ago. It looks better and my life is simpler not having to tiptoe around this ring's design quirks. Granted it was about 10x as expensive, but as wedding bands go it's still affordable and worth it for a lifelong product.

Got for my sons birthday. It fits well, true to size and turns easily. It's a really nice looking ring
