I was impressed by how well the kit was packaged. None of the parts were missing or damaged. Took me a little while to assemble but included on the thumb drive that came with the machine was an assembly video which walked you through the process. This thumb drive also includes control software for both the end mill and laser as well as drivers. Once assembled, some minor adjustments were needed and once the lead screws were lubricated (lubricant not included), it worked well. I included the picture to show that the controller board I received does not match what is depicted on Amazon, HOWEVER, the one I received is better. The main difference is that the one I received includes two different methods to connect a laser (12v 2-Pin and 12v with PWM 3-Pin connections) as well as limit switch input for the Z-Axis. Overall, I am very happy with this machine. The only drawback to this machine is that microstepping is not an option as the control board does not have the 3 jumpers under the drivers. Using the included A4988 drivers, this thing is loud. I changed them out with some TMC2208 drivers I had laying around and it drastically reduced the motor noise. I've tested the machine cutting some circuit boards and the results were awesome. Only thing that I did not like about this buy was that I cannot find any specs on the control board and it would have been nice for the seller to offer a tested and proven laser module as a purchase option.

Assembled in a few hours, the only areas to watch were making sure the t-nuts engaged correctly and the plastic struts didn't fit, I ended up counter boring a bit further. 3D printed parts are a bit warped. I assembled on a sheet of plate glass I use for hobby work, the (very) flat surface helped. Also I set the power supply to 24v. Software isn't crystal clear. Homing via the supplied switches and z-probe worked quite well. Whatever you do, do NOT hit "abort" in the software, or "go to safe position" it will crash, badly. Luckily no apparent damage other than bit loss from the crashes. Managed to carve a cat peeking into a fishbowl using G-code I had set for inches (added G20), after a few abortive attempts. Oh, it comes with an ER-11 spindle, but no collet. I was able to get a set here on amazon. Overall, considering the investment and the apparent capabilities, extremely pleased with the value, would buy again without reservation.

Didn't come with any screws. Needs lots of big M5/M6 screws, not easily or cheaply replaced.Returned for a replacement, hoping it was just an accident. Replacement was also missing screws.Either I was spectacularly unlucky both times, or the lack of screws in this kit was deliberate.Either way, not worth it.

Everything looks great and set up was easy with the video, however can find anything that tell me how to use it.
